Windies got back to back wickets of Johnson and Starc around 178. Bishoo injured his finger and had to leave the field for 5-6 overs. Instead of bringing two pacers from both sides, Ramdin brought on Samuels who leaked around 30 runs and released all the pressure. That's where they lost the game.

They lost the game with the bat, you can't win if you get bowled out for 148. They didn't deserve to win because of that, even though they bowled well.

I would say he has been treated a bit unfairly. Him along with Hilfy are two very underrated players.

Hilfy's just fallen behind the queue.

Voges could have played more ODIs but the players hes been behind have generally done well.

He's a better player than Bailey but Bailey was the de facto ODI captain for a while

Hilfy was one talenetd guy. He could swing the ball well.

He could have probably replaced Smith if Smith had stayed mediocre.

I disagree, they were always in the game. 178/8 with a chance to wrap em under 200. It was just poor captaincy.

Poor captaincy happens at least once or twice 99% of the time for every team in a test match. It gets masked if the captain has a good team. If West Indies scored 500 then Ramdin could have sent Bishoo off the field for all five days and West Indies would still have won.
