Have always rated thakur Indian posters have bashed me for it but he will always be better than kuldeeps and pandyas and khaleels he’s not batted better than the last 6 lower order of batsman of India and Australia that is an achievement
 
So much for the excuses that a T20 player cannot deliver immediately in test cricket, a good quality player will always make the most of whatever chances he gets

Ofcourse, no doubt. Just rubbing it in for the Aussies. They were overwhelming favorites for this series given this was their A side and that Kohli left early and then the Indians suffered so many injuries.

India's bench strength is incredible, man to man they have a replacement for every spot. None of the other top teams have replacements for their key players

They both seem like white ball cricketers to me. Not test class yet. Maybe Washington can be in the future. Dont think natarajan ever will be a test bowler.
 
BCCI should create a web docu-series on this series like CA did after the sandpaper gate. We all deserve to know the mood in the dressing room and team meetings regarding playing XI after every match. It would be super exciting,
 
So now wherever there is a turning pitch and we need to play with three spinners, jaddu ash and sundar can play. What a batting depth that will provide

True , Nat will stick to LOI, Washi now has a chance to be permanent fixture for tests.
 
Very surprising partnership. I know Sundar can bat a bit so is Shardul. But their defensive technique is impressive too
 
Pakistani batting in the last few tours have generally punched above their weight. The biggest difference bw India and Pakistan in Australia has been the bowling, Pakistans bowlers have been so over rated and awful, just look at the difference bw the number of wickets, strike rates, economy rates bw the two bowling attacks vs the Australian batsmen. When the Australian bowlers know they have 600 runs plus on the board, it makes them a totally different animal vs when they have 200-300 runs

Right same here never saw indian team like this fighting attitude, i m watching cricket from last 24 years. Missing 11 players and that too with best batsman kohli not in the team, loosing toss. Simply great

Oh, Australia is the best bowling attack in the world. It’s just that they are struggling bowling to the second best batting unit in the world, next only to the full strength Indian batting unit.
 
Don't want these 2 to get too belligerent and get us as close to Australian total.
 
After this fight back, Australia won’t take a chance setting any target less than 400 for India.

Lyon has been neutralized by the Indians. He had a very ordinary series against them in 2018 as well.

Australias humiliation is complete , cant even subdue India C side at the moment. A team without Bumrah , shami , kohli ,yadav ,jadeja and ashwin. Shows indian is the best cricket team at the moment with some margin.That 36 was an anamoly.
 
The PCB should find out about the Australian trainers, strength conditioning coaches, nutritionists. The capacity of the Australian bowlers like Starc, Hazelwood, Cummins to bowl 140-148 km/hr for 30 overs per innings in a 4 test match series is incredible. This sort of super human fitness makes a massive difference in this sport and results
