Abdur Rauf kind of looks like Imran Khan with the helmet. If he was wearing a white helmet it will be pretty close.
I hope he can bat like him too

Batting lessons from Misbah paying off for Rauf, places it just over short leg while giving an illusion that he was uncomfortable. Awesome.

Imran's nearly 60, think Rauf should be aiming a bit higher.

Apart from aamer our tail is terrible. Misbah should attack here and get these runs quick as tailenders won't be around for long.

This is impeccable technique from Rauf, backing three feet outside leg stump to take LBW out of the equation. We've found our all-rounder of the future

im expecting some fireworks from the aussies in theire 2nd innings, we might as well start with all fielders on the fence!

He is a fine coach for the slips ;-)

Rauf gone, devastating blow to our chances of taking a first innings lead

Don't worry lads, Misbah needs just 169 to get his double century. We need to have faith

Moyo is Captain so you do not have to worry about it.

Crap now AR gives some slip practice.

Misbah should think about taking on the bowling and score some quick runs.

has the pitch gotten better or our batsmen are pathetic...

you are right on both counts....pitch has got easier to bat on but our batsmen are pathetic

The pitch is still flat as hell but the new ball has done a bit, it will have a bit of bounce and movement in the first few overs for our bowlers too. Unfortunately we have no fielders to catch the chances they create

Something positive - Misbah's actually managed to hang around for a decent period regardless of the number of edges.

Let's hope so. GEt out of jail attitude. Only way to save follow on

ponting will bat again
Yes, I think, he will. There are 52 overs to go. If we last 20 more overs, this will give Aust 30 overs + at least 50 overs tomorrow --- 200+240, a target of 440 in 130 over for Pak. Easy win for Aust.

so Misbah is playing for his spot rather then playing some smart shots?

I don't care what our batsmen do in the middle -- as long as they STAY in the middle. If they stay, runs will come.

Now do you realise the recklessness of Umar?

he made a mistake, but this is all due to the top 3, they are all good enough to make the bangladesh team!

i don't see run coming, all i see is wicket going:(

That is the end of Asif's innings. Not very good work from Misbah. He should have known that the tailenders are here and he should take the strike.

Now it is very tough for us. We will need to bat 2 days like we did in Napier....Yousuf double etc reqd.

I'm not sure that applies in misbahs case

misbah is rotating the strike...hes getting new batsmen to face the bowlers instead of him!!

This is really sad. Clueless Misbah doesn't want to loose his wkt and he is exposing tarilenders. Not even worried about follow on.

True dat...both brothers rather maintain their flamboyance, play their shots and look good momentarily...screw the team...
