this is from 6 years ago. technology can only have improved since then.

i don't have a problem with Hawkeye. i think it's consistent, definitely much more consistent than a human umpire can ever be.

but i think the issue here is the review system. the UDRS should be taken out of the players' hand and put directly into the umpires'. IF the umpire makes a howler like Ashoka De Silva earlier, then the 3rd umpire should overturn it. otherwise the original decision should stand.
