If Gibbs goes on for another 15 overs, Aussies can kiss a goodbye to their victory in this match...

I think we can pretty much kiss it goodbye right about now.

You cannot carry 2 express pacers and 2 substandard bowlers on a small ground with a flat pitch.

Nor can you drop 2 catches in the first over and not expect to pay for it.

Cricket is a funny game, you never know :) But at this point, you all don't have many choices given the injuries and retirements...I do agree though that dropping 2 catches in the first over was costly.

Well we can certainly pick 2 better bowlers than Hopes and Hauritz.

Gibbs finally out in his usual way, flighty shot.

2/127 off 19.3

You all are slowly returning back in the game, although still SA are ahead...I agree though that your selectors can do a better job. Although, you all do seriously lack a good spinner. Any upcoming talents in spin department?

We have brainless slogger called Warner now who also apparently bowls rubbish leg spin :afridi

Hes not rubbish, his record might not reflect how good he is (partly because of :akmal ) but hes still a lot better than any spinner australia has right now.

No he is not. Don't make excuses for his record he has played more than 200 games. You cannot say a player who has played that many matches is better than stats suggest. Stats are the tale of those 200 plus games.

Horrorwitz gets Duminy! Finally he fails! 4/163 off 28 overs.

S.A 140-2 and crusing are now 163/5

Both set batsmen kallis and Duminy gone!

Game on!

Australia will need to bowl S.A out here i feel to win the game!

Tait still clocking 150kph in his 6th over.

Much better stuff - where is Savak? :D He will be glad to hear of this.

Because of the way SA played at the beginning with a high RR, it's paying off right now, because even though they are taking 2-3 runs per over, they are still on target for a big chase...

Tait bowls a Waqar and Boucher in a lot of pain from a hit on the toe.

Still clocking 148 kph and reverse swinging it.

Run rate climbing but with boucher out there and morkel to come its not a major worry.

A few boundaries needed here. Or at least these two to start rotating the strike wth some confidence.

Yea 8+/over shouldn't be a problem in the final overs, they just need to keep wickets in hand

Take the powerplay while you still have batsmen idiots !!

I think they're holding that for Morkel, plus it would be a good idea wait for Bracken to get through with this spell.

Shot!!!

McKenzie using his feet to the offspinner, gets an easy boundary. That took a lot of pressure off!

Morkel could take game away from Australia very quickly now...

Graeme Smith would be such a happy man seeing from the sidelines his team continue the winning streak from the Test series. Well done South Africa.

Well done S.A

Have to say botha out though and out skippered punter. Australia are lacking power hitters down the order and after the start they got they should have got a bigger total.

S.A batting depth won them the game again.

Morkel aka Zula part 2 did the buisness for S.A!

S.A really should be 3-0 up in this series and seem to enjoy chasing in these conditions. Australia with out a mcgrath/warne are struggling now to run down sides early on!

Albie Morkel should be Man of the Series.
This should also cement his place in the team.
What a beast :afridi

Australia without a in form Brett Lee, Stuart Clark, Andrew Symonds, Shane Watson, Adam Gilchrist and Mathew Hayden are understandably struggling.

On the match, it was good to see Gibbs back in form, one of my favorite players to watch.

Heading back to the days of sub-300 totals I reckon. So Warner fluked another knock?

Inform Brett Lee? llol. Is that his first name. I don't think all those abesntees would have made great difference. But Graeme smith's absence for SA means more than any of the players for Australia. But England netured SA 5-0 even with graeme smith.
