Make fun if you want, but comments such as 'some of the most pathetic characters I've seen amongst men' are not on

Cool off... Just ignore little banters. At the end of the day lot appreciated Rohit Sharma's composed innings.

Megadeth, that whole 'we' business is just fun and he does it to whoever is playing India or England. It really shouldnt bother you but it clearly does. Stop whinging

Well i find it quite funny as i can't undersand why anyone would do the 'we' thing. I can fully understand supporting anyone playing against India but the 'we' business is just baffling.

Wonderful performance by a Young Team India and especially Sachin Tendulkar :14: :14: :14: !!!!!!

This win will put rest to the argument of not playing Gangu,Dravid for "experience"

Well played India!!! bow down to the great Tendulkar, a matchwinning innings when it was most needed. I'm impressed with Rohit Sharma, he batted very well and well done to the Indian bowlers. All in all a good all round effort from the Indian cricket team.

Awesome win saw the whole Sachin Innings it was like ready a beautiful poem, so majestic. Have to give credit to the bone head who wants Sharma in the ring as well for his well slogged out ugly looking 80 odd Awwwwww too bad you lost.....

Also special mention to the young lad Rohit, man some of those straight drives were just sooooooo divineee, I think we may have found our next superstar batsmen in Sachin's league, we shall see in a few years... :14:

Relax guys he is just a 'multi national human chameleon'

I particularly liked Dhoni's comment. "he's scored 16000 runs, I haven't even faced 16000 balls."

As a Sachin fan, a thought just came to my mind:
1) Century in Australia
2) Match winning knock in the final
3) Match winning know while chasing
SRT got 3 monkeys (no pun intended) off his back with one knock.

But the Sachin Haters Club will end up saying the below things
A few guesses:
1) SRT slowed down near his century and did not hit a ball in the air in his 90s. Cared more about his century than India winning.
2) He should have finished off the match by the 40th over, he was playing for his not out and increasing his average rather than for the team.
3) His lack of fitness leading to Rohit Sharma getting bowled !
4) He did not hit a single boundary off Brett Lee
5) He did not hit the beamer for four
6) It was a slow wicket and there was no swing on offer, its not SRT’s ability on these wickets that is in doubt.

No no. Sachin to my pleasant surprise played a match winning knock. Aussies are on the back foot. Indians are definately heading in the right direction. Positive captain, good fast bowlers, aggressive batters, aggressive thinking and tactics. All without a proper coach.

Indians are leaving Pakistan way behind. 2007 was completely disasterous for Pakistan but we have some new youngsters in form of Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz, Nasir Jamshed, Khurram Manzoor. A fully fit Shoaib Akhtar, Asif, Gul, a decent leg spinner and some better approaches , tactics from both Malik and Lawson. We are more than capable of turning the corner.

I like Rawalpindi Express aka Actor. Will he ever be playing for Pakistan again based on the treatment meted to him by PCB?

Shoiab is treated better in India than in Pak I guess.. he can also make more money and get into bollywood.. bet he will prefer to stay in Bombay for good... do foreigners need some sorta "green card" to stay in India 4 good ?

Axxxcellent win for Bharat.

I was slightly surprised to look at the scorecard because i didn't think IND would win this easily.

Some what glad to see Johnson going for so many runs! I really don't like the way he bowls.

...not to mention the "throw it wide outside off stump and hope the batsman makes a mistake or a fielder takes a great catch" approach. Certainly the most boring 90 mph bowler that i have ever seen.

He is a work in progress - not the finished article we hope :P

yeah lets hope Magic changes his bowling style because if he doesn't then he would single handedly shorten the careers of Symo,Clarke and other fielders in the cover point area :D

You guys are like someone who came in the middle of a movie and then jumped to conclusions about the beginning. There is a long history behind the 'we' thing and it was all in good jest. And with only a handful of Aussie posters on the board its good to have more people in the opposition which makes banter much more fun.

IMO, he poses threats on the same line as Lee. indian batsman would do well to keep him at bay and not slog out until safely positioned.

yaar what happened to his delivery that came back in to the RHB? if he can start doing that at pace he'll be tough to face

7) Its not over yet. We will win the next 2 games like we did to against us (Sri Lanka) in 2006.

Yeah he bowled quite well during the 7 match series in IND but here he has really struggled to swing the new ball

This delivery has been rumoured but no one I know has ever actually seen it. :D
He is a handful to face at the moment, mostly just due to pace and angle. Australia are very good at teaching and training players but atm he is a work in progress not a finished product.

he also doesn't get a proper seam position...it's always scrambled. Maybe that has something to do with it

Johnson was the bogey man for the indian batsmen ever since he bowled well against india in the tri nation tournament in 2006.
he did well in india in the 7 match series too.

but this time around on australian pitches, he did not make the kind of impact he was expected to make against indian batsmen.

May be he is more suited to the sub continental conditions or it is a case of indian batsmen analysing his bowling and handling him better.
