:))) :)))

The umpires tried to review tendulkars out for a noball

when the hell has that happened before lol

either there should be decision reiew or not

no pick and choose

I think they tried to review this dismissal as well but it was too obvious :D

I am Trolololing to the tune of Deck The Halls right now. Still, mediocre so far by the Aussies.

Sid Vicious is fired up. I fear for the MIGHTY AND TALL ISHANT'S safety.

Sid laying down 145+ kmh bouncers at the MIGHTY AND TALL ISHANT, knowing he can only respond with 125kmh ones.

stumps 3/214. Dravid 68 MIGHTY AND TALL ISHANT 0

Aussies can finely breathe. Something good coming for them at last. All 3 sessions for India today. Tomorrow we might see some twists

You are joking surely you are joking. This is ********, no DRS eh? But we review the no ball anyway?

Utter and compete joke, umpire makes a call at the time. Either you can review it or you cant. This is a total joke. I am not posting again today. Get stuffed.

DRS, as you well know, is Decision 'Review' System. Since the umpires have yet to make a decision for run-outs, low catches, no balls, they can go for a video replay. Hawk-eye or Hotspot is not involved there.

Over all good day for india in spite of loosing two wickets at crucial stages

Earlier when Sehwag was hit on the hip, hotspot visual was shown. There were 3/4 little white spots on both of his gloves. I wonder what caused them.

great day again, ended on equal with Sachin's dismissal.Dravid now needs to carry on get 130 atleast.

btw I dont understand why Ishant was sent.nightwatchman is meant to be used for fading light

Obviously it's India's day. Need to continue to bat as long as possible for tomorrow as well for the rare chance of victory at MCG.

I agree with your logic there.

However, why do umpires only choose to review possible "no balls" after a wicket appears to have fallen and not each and every time that they suspect that a bowler has overstepped?

With so many close tests of late, each and every run could prove vital to the outcome of the match.

We need at least 200+ lead to put lots of pressure on Oz.

If SRT keeps batting like this for rest of the series, you are doomed Aus. If Zak gets better as the series goes on ... You are mega doomed Aus.

MoNkEy,

Yes, that would be ideal.

ICC should consider taking no-ball decisions completely out of umpires and introduce the technology, as it is used in tennis for line calls.

Good day for India..India should look to give at least 100 runs first innings lead and all will depend upon first session tomorrow

India looking pretty secure...wonder if this pitch will have enough juice for the bowlers in the Aus/Ind 2nd innings?

looks quite placid.

Siddle is fired up,expecting him to come hard at indian batsmen tomorrow, playing out him will be the key for india to achieve a good first innings lead

At least a 200+ lead by end of tomorrow. Then, hopefully get them out under 300 in 4 sessions. That's the most plausible way I see for us to win.

Unless there are dramatic batting collapses for both sides in the 2 middle innings.

Loosing sachins wicket just before the end of play will affect the scoring rate, too defensive approach from india may lead them to scoring below 350 runs

Effective running between the wickets is of utmost important. The outfield is not so quick.

i think aussies last time spread the field and forced him to run in the last two sereis between us..
anyway if he can handle the newball well , match will be safe for us

but Dravid struggled in the later part of his innings today :|

yeah R D looked a bit unsettled especially during last few overs.we need a positive approach from batsmen tomorrow to achieve a healthy lead

ambi wishing sehwags double century? Today sun has risen from the west!

two ftbs proving they are not-so-ftbs after all. lucky or not, sehwag did get the runs. and i hope samaraweera has quelled the doubts to some extent.

pattinson looks like a very mature bowler even at this age. very good signs.

What happens if the umpire calls no ball and the batter is out? Do we review the no ball call on video then? Its just rubbish. The umpire on the field makes a call at the time, if we have a review system then those decisions can be reviewed.

What about the extra balls teams are entitled to? What is the wrong batsman is facing because a no ball wasnt called? Either all deliveries are reviewed or they are not. Its so illogical.

Run outs and low catches are not the same because the umpire declines to give a decision and refers it upstairs. Here the umpire has decided it is not a no ball then has a change of heart and reviews it.

If we dont we dont. Total junk sorry.

Never underestimate our ability to collapse at a crucial moment :D

comparing sehwag and samara deserves thousands of 's :pissed:

Hope Kholi gets out cheaply,, badly want to see Rohit SHarma for the next TEST...

what sort of comment is that.Kohli failing means India suffers?do u want that?n he is better than Rohit anyway.got his place after doing well in ODIs for 2 years rather than 2 series

Kohli is better for sure.Rohit is more talented n elegant but plays airy strokes n gets himself out.Kohli has got better temperament n plays sensibly.thier ODI careers r a reflection

ODIs not enough to judge, if Kholi makes a good score here ill jump on his bandwagon but I still prefer Sharma.. Sharma I feel is the most talented youngster bat in the world...

n if Kohli fails I too would call for Sharma,,but he deserves the chance first,n hope he takes.eventually both will play long for india

agree about Rohit being talented.he needs to sort out his temperament n his belly

i agree. Sharma will be the backbone of future team india. He'l play the role of dravid in test and that of UV in ODI. a good combo.

Always seems like we have to produce something like that to get rid of him. He has been beating up our bowlers for nearly twenty years.

For some reason, Tendulakar always raises his game against Aus.

Siddle was bowling with fire in last spell. He actually bowled quite wll in general. Pattinson looks very good bowler for Aus. He seems to have lots of maturity to bowl tight with good pace for an extended period. That's good for building pressure in any situation.

Except haddin missed catch , good cricket from both sides as expected.
