Congrats India on 2-0 finals win. Looks like Indias Risk of going with youth has paid off.

Sachin should get man of the match and man of the finals award.

India were the hungrier side as the Australians seem to have lost their motivation.

By motivation don't you mean "star players " or "youth" ?

It is just that teams used to give up before they enter into the field, but trust me from now on Aussies will go down

man it was very close... Congrats to Indian team. I see the tears from australians players. Its really sad, especially gilly and hopes.

It was overall a great performance from indian team. never ever expected this young ODI team to win even a single game against aussies in the ODI series. But they surprised everyone and won the tournament.

As usual u r finding excuses.
keep trying.
u run the risk of being called as a joker!

Here is Australia, playing at home,
Against Indian team, in one of the most bitterly contested series in recent memory,
having already lost at SCG, MCG in Gilchrist's last set of matches now in front of Gabba crowd,
after the Hayden-Bhajji weed/boxing taunts,

u say "Aussies lacked motivation".
i understand u r terribly disappointed.
chill out.

Motivation? Australia was more motivated than ever for several reasons. First and foremost a winning farewell for Gilly, Hoggy. Then there was a series loss last time.. So they were determined to earn a series loss 2 years in a row.

Dhoni has to be the coolest Captain around.

Congratulations to the Young Team India for such brilliant performance :14: ! If you have passion you can do everything, they showed that. They were written off by everyone after exclusion of Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid but they weren´t bothered about it.

Thanks for it, I loved watching you bat, bowl, field as a young unit :19: . an inspiration for all the youngsters around the world :14: .

Especial congratulations to "THE VICTORIOUS DHONI" :19: . Have this from me, mate> :116: .

Really feel sorry for Adam Gilchrist and Brad Hogg :( ...... Well fought James Hopes, Sachin Tendulkar, Praveen Kumar :19: .

A great game of cricket :14: .

As far as I understand, Kashif has just said that Australians lacked motivation, that´s all! What´s this fuss about :20: ?

I don´t really know if whether they really were lacking motivation but certainly it wasn´t on show in the last few games at least......

every defeated team appear to have a lack of motivation..how many times have u seen a defeated team that was motivated during the match..

Yeah, I understand what you mean and Kashif highlighted it (point of lack of motivation), as simple as that :) !

u cant stand india winning, so u start whining as if u own the forum.
first learn to respect others.
then some one may respect u one day!
probably u have never received respect in life and u must have been subjected to-"go back to your hole"- comments many times! that must be the reason that u have been saying that to some forummers!
dont be so depressed.
consult a shrink, u r in urgent need of counselling!(being a doctor and a patient urself u may not be able to diagonose urself. consult a good doctor Son! May God be with you!)

Kashif has always been belittling the performances of indians by attributing imagined reasons for aussie failures.

when indian bowlers routed the aussie batsmen in 60 hours at perth,he said, the aussie batsmen looked tired, instead of accepting Indian bowlers bowled exceptionally well.

touch ur heart and tell me, whether u thought the aussies lacked motivation? they had every reason to be extremely motivated to defeat this indian team.

apart from that, if u had been reading his posts, u would agree with me that he cant stand india winning.he will try to come up with some reason or the other to find excuses.that is his nature.

now, that would sum it up.

By the way, posting sh!t is your hobby.
i posted facts and logic to explain Aussies did not lack motivation.

how about substantiating "aussies lacked motivation"?try to analyse, it is a better way than continuing with ur miserable life and its ill effects.

Congrats to India, they have certainly scored a psychological blow to the Aussies, even though they lost the Tests (what really matters)

It will be great fun to read the reaction of Aussie media tomorrow. This series was a revealation into the Aussie psyche, and I hope, that is not representative of the larger population there. A few gems will remain in mind for a while:

- Hayden saying all that crap about Bhajji and then saying he did not violate the spirit of cricket. You don’t when you kill someone on the street either.

- Ponting claiming the bump catch and then indignantly saying you could not question his integrity. And never once saying he probably made a mistake in claiming.

- Sledging also showed an interesting angle. They behave as if they own a rule book on it, and they would decide where the opposition should stop. Mgrath-Sarwan, Bhajji-Symonds are some of the examples, where they started and when the heat was too much, went crying to the teacher.

- Towards the end of the current series, Ponting admitting that he had mentally disintegrated(my worst season in life)

There were many more, but, I would stop here.

Congrats to India though. I may even start to support them with their new exciting selection policy. Oh who am I kidding? I will always cheer for the other team! :D

I am 100% Turkish, but of all the Turkish people I know I am the only one who knows anything about and has any interest in cricket.

So, don't think we'll see a Turkish cricket team in the next 20 years. (but I'll work hard for it)

Zindabad India!!! And Sachin chokes??

Farhad, Monsee, Zushy, Game...when it's on it's on!
