Pant has been nothing short of pathetic, playing Charlie Chaplin style shots trying to showboat, so far in this tour he has missed out on at least 200 runs due to his stupidity...

Head is just a good player who is hyped by a fangirl known for posting lies and made up stats and who ran away when Head HTB was exposed.

Head is a great player. He performs under pressure but he needs to improve his away average. Would still take him over kphli anyday. Inclusive of. Prime kohli who never really performed under pressure. I hate stat padders.

He hasn't played much but he stepped up in Ashes and even bgt in India. He is a great player but yea the fan girl was overhyping for sure.

He won them the odi wc and wtc. So clearly he is clutch. However jaiswal bumrah and pant and sundar etc dint play that game..in the wtc final.

Dont conflate formats. Even Munaf Patel won a WC....Sreesanth won 2 and Kyle Jamieson won a WTC as well. Wtc has a concept needs improvement as all teams dont play home and away consistently. Head did not do jack in BGT until Mumbai when the match was dead and the series was gone. He hasn't played much? He has played almost half his tests outside of Aus lol. Don't believe the fangirl hype.

Averaged 47 in that series. He was the reason they won the third test vs india in the last bgt.

I agree the odi stats have been inflated. In tests he did very well vs india at home recently and in the last bgt.

Was poor in 2018.

Averaged 47 because of the dead 90 in Mumbai on the flattest pitch in 2 decades where useless past it Kholi scored 180 and india scored 500 or 600 or something.

Head is a good player but 0 away centuries in the opposition den is a damning stat. This fangirl crucifies Ashwin for something similar who always gave a champ performance in rainy conditions in WTC final and not a century on a dead Oval pitch against an attack sans bumrah with Shardul Thakur lol.

Do t care much about milestones. Only care for performances, impact and whether you help your team win. He has done that in the Ashes and in bgt but I agree it is a padded record in India.

He struggled in thebfirst 2 tests then did really well in the third one. 4th test was a joke on such an ultra flat patta.

He needs to do more but yea still a great player

Hope India saves the test for the sake of Nitish Reddy.

It was a really high class hundred from him, he may hit a few more in future but this knock should always be up there as one of his best.

The pitch has been more batting friendly in last two tests, thus allowing India to draw these matches despite persisting with over the hill players. Bowling attack from both sides have toiled hard and seems tired. I sense India won’t mind a draw in Sydney as well, or maybe if they bat first and put a good total anything can happen.
 
India needs to somehow add another 30-40 runs for the final wicket. If they can cut the deficit to 80 or 90 runs, then Aus will be made to bat the entire day on Day-4. This means India has to survive Day-5.

Still Aus are strong favorites. But India can at least dream of a draw somehow.

Don't bet on Siraj. with siraj at other end both ends are open. Nitish will be forced to take risks.
 
Indian bowling apart from bumra is pathetic..I don't know who is bowling coach now but Bharath arun was a great bowling coach for India ..Match situations in this series cried out loudly for one more genuine fast bowler many times but our deaf selectors selected kotian as replacement for Ashwin!!!
 
Mitch Marsh is a parchi..

How does a non-performer like him get to play regularly for Australia? Useless with both bat and ball. Makes runs once in a blue moon. (Apparently) He is a good entertainer in the dressing room but that is surely not his primary role..

In the absence of Josh, Aussies badly need another strike bowler. Beau Webster or Lance Morris should be in the team in place of Mitch.
 
Credits to Reddy and Sundar, have made the draw more likely....it all depends on how Aussies respond in 2nd Innings. They need something above 300 atleast to force a result in this Test.
 
Aussie fans about to go on a journey with Konstas. Pakistanis have already suffered with Afridi.

I can tell you there will be exciting moments but more heartaches.

Its his ability to pitch the ball in the same spot and get it to move in two different directions. Once in a generation bowler.
 
This Series has proven that India team with Bumrah is world class and without Bumrah pretty ordinary. Indians should thank their lucky stars they got this gem

Sundar's wicket has costed us this match already....105 runs lead is way too much on this dangerous pitch...this pitch on day5 is going to be a mine field

To Jimmy’s credit he survived 22 Years as fast bowler in cricket . something you never see. Bumrah is ahead in skill set but i doubt he has got couple more prime years left.
