Both the newbies have looked promising and Siddle has bowled very well but quick bowlers always look pretty special on day one, Gabba, this time of year.

Horrendous fielding though, how many have we dropped so far? Usman is no good at short leg, Hughes should be in there. And it matters less if Hughes gets one belted in to him.
