Haha, Slater calling Maxwell "the No Show" on commentary

Looking at the bounce Morne Morkel is generating of the pitch, I would love to see Mohammad Irfan bowling here.

Playing well Mitch but needs to bat out to the end

South Africa have won like 80% of their ODIs over here

Not impossible.

Haven't heard anything about it but it sounds pretty reasonable.

If Moin Khan is watching, today has been like a 42 over-long advertisement for why Azhar Ali and Younis Khan should go to a World Cup in Australia.

250-6 in 50 overs is a far better situation than 154 all out in 41.4 overs.

I am starting to think:

1. Azhar Ali
2. Sarfraz Ahmed
3. Younis Khan
4. Misbah-ul-Haq
5. Ahmed Shehzad
6. Umar Akmal
7. Shahid Afridi
8. Wahab Riaz
9. Ehsan Adil
10. Junaid Khan
11. Mohammad Irfan

Adil makes the eleven because in Australia you need a right-arm quick bowler taller than 6 foot 3. Bilawal Bhatti is around 8 inches too short for the role.

.

You keep on saying this but the wickets at the WACA don't resemble the wickets in the east at all.

Which is why only Marsh could handle it.

Pakistan aren't going to play in conditions like this at all.

Mitch is 6 months older than Irfan and a year older than Asif.

All three are in cricket terms younger than their chronological age. Mitch because he had a year off after doing his foot in South Africa, Irfan because he has bowled less than the average 27 year old and Asif because for some reason he is having a five year holiday!

There is no way Mitch can carry on with the volume of cricket he is currently being given, and I thought Pup overbowled him in Dubai especially but also in the first dig at Abu Dhabi.

What he gives up will partly be determined by Cricket Australia, and depends upon the return of Cummins and Pattinson to Test cricket.

Yes Convict, I get that, but compared with Abu Dhabi and Dubai even the Adelaide Oval is like the WACA!

In my book, the WACA is to Australia what the Adelaide Oval is to Hafeez or Shehzad!

I don't think you can make any predictions based on how a drop in in Adelaide or Melbourne will play based on two matches on the same wicket at the WACA.

If anyone is wondering why we rate Hazelwood watch this now. Pace, bounce, swing and seam both ways.
