Aussie seamers bowling around 136-137 kmph, decent by our standards but very 'unAustralian' if I may se the term. What happened to Boof's theory of only having guys capable of bowling consistently over 140+

Africa will chase this down, if they had to chase down around 230+ that could've been difficult!

Behardien should never play another game for South Africa. Not once has he looked remotely international standard.

Seriously dunno what Behardien is doing in the side. He is not the worst top 6 batsmen in international cricket.

AB must be slapping himself after not getting his 50, but at the end of the day who cares about individual records. AB is probably the most likable guy (besides Hash)

These bouncy track bully bowlers will get a beating of their life in Asian conditions.

If this was a WC match, Proteas would definately have choked.

Hazlewood is quality. Will be a handful anywhere. Has swing, seam, bounce and good pace. Great bowling acumen as well Convict I'm impressed. This guy should be an automatic in tests.

Would have been funny if Warner had taken out Johnson in that slip catch. I have once seen fielders run into each other in the deep due to no communication.

I just saw him today for some time and he wasn't moving the ball.

Swing and seam is necessary for SC conditions and if he got that, can be successful. Bowls good consistent lines.

Hazlewood is 196. He's mostly mid 130s to high 130s/low 140s but I have seen him bowl 146 in big bash.

Big effort ball though.

My mail for a while is that he was a big chance for the Gabba and it's not hard to see why.
The main thing holding back was injury and the lack of really good bowling performances- he was always good for 2-3 at a decent average but never went further.

At the tail end of last season and the start of the season he's starting to have the real big performances now.

For non Australian followers he might seem like he's new on the bloke but for anyone who follows Australian cricket he's been talked about for a long time. Despite being younger than Pattinson and Starc, Hazlewood made his first class debut way back in 2008 and first played for Australia in 2010. He was always considered the next big thing until Cummins came along and took that mantle and Pattinson and Starc managed to have a decent run at international level.
