Is trying to retain your culture a bad thing, as long as you are law abiding and follow the rules?
Did White Europeans gave up the culture and integrated into host societies during their discoveries of new world countries?

Having some self esteem and love of your cultural identity, is actually a good thing.

I agree I dont associate with term nor do most pakistanis outside of certain cities in central punjab and karachi, I think earlier diaspora of Pakistan was from these regions resulting popularity of the term.

This one is true. I don't generally go to Brampton with my car. I prefer to take bus there.

I don't want a crash involving my vehicle.

I am asking how you got to the conclusion that you wrote above? from me using the words respect and integration? How respecting and integration means to leave your own culture? btw the majority of westreners when travel or live in any foreign country integrate massively in other cultures.

This. Them trying to speak in a more foreign language like German is even worse. A few people I know do this, I have told them that I can help them improve their German/Romanian but they couldn't care less.

Although when they are amongst other people with even lesser knowledge of a language than them they starting bellowing in the worst way imaginable.

Most Indians I know are well behaved and integrate decently. However, below are my observations

-> Speaking loudly in native language in front of Americans
-> Some dress too traditionally like wearing sarees to work.
-> Some still hang on to Caste feelings. I recently came to know that there are caste based parties among Telugu people. Kamma, Reddy people have their own get togethers. Such shameless people.
->scratching bellies and back in public (mostly older people).
-> Some still try to bend the law to their own advantage. Again seen this mostly among Telugu people.

The staring at other Asians is very common.

I notice that it's common for men to really stare at women in Asian countries. They seem to continue that very bad habit abroad too.

But here it's the other way round, women tend to stare more at men than vice versa.
