just checked cricinfo lol two guys bounced out? It is one thing you get troubled by spin in bangladesh as it not usual for others. Getting owned by pace and bounce here shows how poor pakistan batting has become. so all 3 wickets have gone to seamer.
 
Rizwan is finished 2 years ago but stupid moron Naqvi keep backing up. This Naqvi is corrupt to the core.

Ok some decent shots from Samad but below are his numbers in case anyone is expecting a big score from him. The law of probability is against him I am afraid.

Ghori averages 20 in List A, 41 in first class. Should have been picked in tests first .
Pakistani selectors always does this. Shan Masood has an amazing record in List A but always picked in tests.

Looking at the stats of the new players I just feel for Babar,Aiub ,Fakhar.

My question ❓ are these new lads worthy to replace them?

I think they are trying out these youngsters.

Good idea because this is just a random bilateral series. Nothing is at stake.

Even South Africa and New Zealand are trying out bench players in their series.
 
Taskin has been playing for ages.
But still hasn't played even 90 ODIS ?!!

But doesn't make sense when I see their stats. They are at best just ideal Pakistan A or B team material. Don't see any long term prospect

One guy was bowling at ~145kph, the ball rushed to the batsman.

The other guy was bowling in good areas and ball was nipping off the seam.

The Bangladesh bowling was actually quite good, but ya, against top sides they would have neutralised the bowling, Pakistan isn’t a top side. They are quite mediocre and playing newbies who are thrown to fail so that Babar and test of friendship quota can come back.
 
Ghori looks quite decent, playing balls close the body, waiting for the deliveries, not rushing into the shots. He can be someone who should be worked on by Pakistani system.

Saim Ayub offers utility he should be in ODi team specially the Shamyls we've seen

Possibly, he is struggling with one thing that all Pakistani batsman struggle with, rotation of strike.

So in ODI pitches where it’s a batting shootouts he would be a liability, as he doesn’t look like someone who can hit boundaries at will.

I do not think he is an ODI prospect just yet but I think in test he can be tried and looked into, but regarding odi or white ball yes he is not someone who can hit boundaries at will.
 
Bangladesh have a serious pace attack: Rana, Fizz and Taskin are world class, assuming they keep present form

But it is a well known problem for years. Even top batsmen like Babar had this issue.

The unfortunate truth is, No batsman in Pakistan is ready to play ODI or Test or T20 (barring Farhan in T20).
Pakistani batting is quite low standard, for current Pakistani batting standards he can be groomed. He needs to work on finding gaps better and strike rotation. Then he can be a decent option for a low-mid tier team.

Yes, that’s why they are a low-mid tier team.

People here set expectations from them subconsciously thinking of old Pakistani teams of 90s/00s. If they remove Pakistan and put Kenya, then people here would not be surprised the way they play.
 
Another tetchy single and they somehow make it home!! Quite full, down the ground, and they take off for another poorly-judged single. Replays show he was out of the crease when Miraz threw this in from up close

Against Australia they would hve been 5 down lol I don't think Australia is not going to miss these run outs.

And these are playing for Pakistan national team.
