Bangladesh commentators start gnashing their teeth at the slightest change in momentum.

Watching these guys play.

It is clear that they are comfortable up to 130-133 kph pace. Anything 140kph - 147kph they are struggling BIG TIME!!! All of them so far.

Which is pathetic as they are international class and should be enjoying that extra pace, work it to their own advantage can easily hit boundaries.

But nah... shows these guys lack fast reflexes and will not make it as proper batters.

I think Ghouri is struggling to understand that this isn’t Pakistan domestic cricket where the fielding standards are pure $hite and that you can run by hitting it straight to fielders, or get gaurenteed 2s from what should only be a single.

He really needs to calm the hell down out there with his lunatic running. He’s playing well, just back yourself with the bat!

Salman needs to play a big innings and get the revange for that run-out haha dont see it happening but would be awesome if it does.

Is this Nahid guy really good ?

He is quick, bowling around 145kph. Against low tier batting line up like Pakistan, he will be impactful.
However, he bowled plenty of bad balls today, so would be punished by top teams.

Overall, if he can be more consistent with his line and length while maintaining the same pace, he would be quite good for Bangladeshi standards and pretty decent by world standard.

Farhan
Maaz

These batters are sitting ducks vs. pace and bounce, cannot play bouncers/short balls at all!!!

And these are playing for Pakistan national team.
Issue is that all the pak batters are looking atrocious against bouncers and aren't moving their feet at all.name is different but the style is same.Maaz fending off bouncer suggests that pak pacers dont bowl bouncers at all in domestic matches or pitch bounce is quite pathetic. Every one is boundary hitter with zero strike rate.i guess pak batsmen are getting away happily with that approach in domestic matches and getting dumbfounded at international level. They dont have neither adaptability nor game awareness for each format/situation.

More importantly, he exhibits jazba, daler, janbaazi and gundagardi

Pakistan has one of the worst domestic pitches going around when it comes to aiding pacers. Now that they have gone spin route it probably got even worse.

Oh yes, the 4 essential ingredients required to become the best team in the world but never win anything.

Although, with the recent turn to become a Shia, these ingredients might have changed to something else.

Shambolic , Pakistan cricket going down the drain , so bad , Pakistan use to beat Bangaldesh for fun (no disrespect). Mohsin Naqvi has to make some radical decisions , this lot of Hesson Aaqib Misbah etc are not making us any better.

Will like to check Pakistan W/L ratio in ODIS post CT25 barring minnows , we might be winless against a proper team

Saad Masood played a match-winning knock during Emerging Asia Cup final (also against Bangladesh). Can he repeat the heroic?

Pakistan selectors have done the right thing by giving youngsters opportunities. Bilateral series should be used to build bench strength and give exposure to new players winning or losing every match is not the main goal.

Top teams like India and Australia do this regularly by resting seniors and testing new talent. Today Samad and Ghazi showed promise and fans should support these youngsters instead of criticizing them after a few games

If Pakistan wants to build a strong future team, giving consistent chances to young players is the right approach.

They weren’t playing South Africa in port Elizabeth
If this is best of what’s to come out of Pakistan in the future I can see why Babar keeps getting reselected

just turned in to see couple of overs. Horrible looking pitch, hardly any spectators, mediocre quality cricket, sums up BD. Where are the fans on a Sunday when the home team is playing a decider? Looks like fans are realizing how pathetic their team is

One of those black pitch?

Saad Masood's List A record (see here), doesn't suggest why he's in this Pakistani team.

And to look at him, his batting isn't much kop. Feet bound, bat prodding away.

This guy Sikander is also part of the problem

Been listening carefully to his crap for ages

171 to win from 156 balls. 5 wickets in hand.

Pakistan need a big partnership. They can still win this.
