Hawkeye is *******, draws its own line, that was spinning back in.
Root has to drop back to no 4, just not working @ 3 even though it might just be a mental thing.
Interesting to see if Ballance fails here if Hameed comes in and then if he moves up to open instead of Duckett. Then it'd be fairly easy to slot Duckett in at 3.
Cook set to win a test match for England this time in Bangladesh.
Bairstow getting sledged all around.
Can he understand?
Mehedi is easily the player of the series.
Good morning. Wanted 3, got 5.
Our Mushi is the 3rd dumbest Captain I have seen - went to the run saving mood. Now, bowling Hom so that the new pair can settle down - this guy will cost us this game, unless Tamim intervenes.
So you sleep for just 2 hours in the night?
So you sleep for just 2 hours in the night?
I don't understand why these idiots allowing batsmen to go on back foot!!!!! Make then drive on this track, or defend on bat-pad.
Surprising to not see Aman here whining about substandard pitches.![]()
Mehdi Mehdi Mehdi.....
Take a bow young lad.
MMHS - Do you feel England is way too woeful against spin? Australie eque or even below?
With all due respect, all the wickets look of deliveries that are normal. Nothing super dangerous off the pitch or something.
Their lineup is not balanced - you can't put 5 lefti in top 6 with opponents best bowler being classical offie. And they have to take sweep out of their mind set. In India, I'll drop Balance & Adil (trust me, he'll face judgement day against Indian batsmen) & play Josh & Hameed (Bell) & then alter the batting order to put few right handers up.
In general quality of spin play is worst in history of the game, at least since WW 1, therefore it's quite predictable. Spinners of both sides have bowled enough trash for teams to cross 450, at least on 1st innings of this Test. On this track, Anil (Kumble) would have figures like 38-15-77-6 - that's 20 years back; these days make it 20-4-60-8.
Mongia will be among best 2/3 spin players among those 22 batting here.
Stokes, you have to win one more here for England.
He definitely will.
Just not bothered but what is happening here perfectly fits with his beliefs.
Wait for him and he will say if Mehdi and Shakib can take wickets on such pitches, then no wonder Indian spinners are taking wickets on super rank turners.
Mongia, Kalu and co will look solid but won't last long (barring the odd innings) cos you also need temperament to bat for long.
Just very surprising to see England bat like this. 2011-12 they were so good. What a fall from grace.
How did Root play in this series quality wise?
Is Mehedi actually that good? Or are England just that bad?
Root looked most comfortable only problem was he didn't get a big score. In 1st test England the 1st innings everyone was struggling to get bat and ball root was scoring at a brilliant rate.
He's the key wicket for you guys.
Losers whine and make excuses. Winners beat the opponents on their own turf.
Damn...he's gonna take it all out against us. Haha.
Hahaha he's England main hope tbh.
Looking forward to Root vs Ashwin![]()
I still feel England will pull it off. England just need to keep the target below 100 and see Bangla choke again.
Remember guys - Ansari is a better cricketer than Jaddu, game is still in balance.
