Yes it hasn't initially.

But even Ashwin was garbage earlier. But didn't he come back and do well.

Yadav after coming back was starting to look good.

Bowlers need consecutive overs for rhythm.

In fact, you take Ashwin. Every time he is taken off and brought back after a while...the first over or two...he would get thrashed.

If that's the case for a spinner, imagine how a pacer like Yadav must feel.

In fact, he openly mentioned this aspect about Dhoni (he takes me off after 2 overs) in a sugar coated way.

If he got thrashed too, then its fine to move ahead with someone else.
 
This match reminds me of Ind vs Pak 2015 wc match. India too lost their way in the end when pakistan bowled well in the last couple of overs. :kohli
 
Bangladesh needs Taijul or Jubair in their line up. Needs to bench one of their pacer.
 
One thing i noticed is most BD batsman struggle with short balls
 
not enough for this pitch tbh, if they made 325+ they would of been more safe.
 
Expect a lot of short stuff going forward, this series. Very very suspect techniques
 
Does mohit seriously have a brain? why the hell does he keep bowling short?!

Good finish by Bangladesh. Indian players just came out of IPL. Lets see how Bangladeshi bowlers cope with Indian batsmen.

For the next game we have to have either Aksar or Binny in place of Mohit. But knowing MSD's stubbornness for sameness we might get to see same playing eleven.
 
:facepalm: sad bowling honestly should had taken the game away at 4 wickets down still lets see 308 might be chased.
 
BD are about 50 runs short, they should have had about 350-380 here but India bowled really well at the end. Those 75mph bouncers should have been smashed out the park though :))) struggled against the lack of pace I guess :akhtar
 
Horror stuff to be all out for 308. I know its not 208 but being 100 after 13 overs you expect a team with inform batsman to score 350+

Or atleast we were 245-5 after 40 overs. Scored only 62 runs in the death :facepalm:
 
Pitches for ODI these days are a joke. No matter which team bats, 300 is around the corner. New Zealand/England bowlers getting thrashed for 350-400 in every game and that too in England shows the state of pitches around the world.
 
Bangladesh were looking good for 350 but had a Pakistan-like collapse. India should chase it down.
 
Gutted with our batting performance.

-Sarkar running himself out
-Tamim and Mushfiq gifting their wickets
-Shakib and Nasir not staying in the middle till the final overs
-Our tail not making a substantial contribution.
 
The truth is Mohit has been selected because of the chennai effect :yk :dhoni

India bowled really well, they were too good for BD at the death
 
Disappointing batting in patches.

Needed at least 350 to have a shot at winning this. And having 4 pacers wont help either.

Need to bowl Nasir for his full quota and Shabbir as well.

Perhaps our pacers can try to do a Manoj Prabhakar and bowl spin!
 
irrespective of the results... i really believe we (BD) deserve to play the champions trophy rather than pakistan... our batting is significantly stronger in ODI's.
 
Mohit bowled badly but just couple months back he was being praised for India's bowling performances in the world cup. He took 13 wickets at 24.15. He deserved a chance. Don't know why you guys are cribbing about pacers getting hammered on these roads where there is neither swing nor bounce.

Same can be said about junaid khan. Compare juanid's performance against bangladesh to that of mohit sharma and you will get Your answer

I agree, BD batting is much much better than Pakistan in LOI criket. But Pak bowling is much much better than yours.

BD needs to find 1 really good fast bowler and a world class spinner to get to the top 5.

Sorry but India "didn't bowl so well". They did good but not as good as we made them out to be.

India bowled lots of hit me deliveries we didn't hit. Shakib and Nasir got out to deliveries that was there to be hit
 
Mohit sharma may be poor but still better than all the pakistan fast bowlers barring wahab riaz.

The way Pakistan bowled against us or even against Zimbabwe I beg to differ. Not that our bowling attack is decent, rather that Pakistan's bowling has looked out of sorts.

Pakistan has Riaz but they don't have any spinners to write home about in ODI's after Ajmal was banned. BD scored consistently at 6 runs per over against Pakistan when they toured a month ago. BD has some good spinners though who are better than Pakistan ODI spinners.

starting from 2012, India is still the 2nd best team in the death overs (just below Australia), according to a stat shown in TV

Am sorry but BD were god awful they were in a position to get to 350 but India were just too good for them, BD were so awful they couldn't put away 75-80mph bouncers; no wonder they are so bad at the test level

Indian bowlers inflict a collapse, they should be given full credit, I believe.

Mohit is an insult to the game and doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Junaid, Mohit has the look of a man asking for a beating. It's almost as if he wets his panties during his run-up and his performance today vindicates that

In series again you (BD) and in home series (ZIM), we had our 'C' grade bowling attack. All front line bowlers were injured except Wahab.

I already can see a very decent bowling attack, with Amir coming back and fully fit Irfan, Rahat, Adil and Sohail Khan.

Definitely, India bowled well. BD fans should be ashamed of themselves, they really had a good chance of posting something very competitive but India were just too good for them and you know BD were awful when they struggled against 75/80 mph bouncers
