If BD shows the same application like first innings i don't see why they can't chase even 130. This is a trundler army. Boult is bowling at 128 kph. Southee is bowling at 126 kph.

WTC is actually a joke format. You can cherrypick 6 teams to play. 2 tests series are allowed. You get the same point for winning in WI and Aus/Ind as visiting team. Then to cap it off, one test is final at a random venue.

Imagine NZ playing final in Aus vs Aus or Ind vs Ind. It will have no interest for fans. At least make it 3 test in 3 different conditions as final and make sure all teams plays each other with minimum 3 tests.

One good thing is due to WTC is that teams don't normally play for boring draws if there is a chance to win. Actually, some do, but top teams don't do that. Outside of that, the pinnacle remains winning test series in the den of top test teams.

This is up there in the worst defeats I've seen in NZC.

Starting to wonder whether this is it for this generation and the WTC Final was an end of a golden era for NZC.

We haven't had world class players, we've had good players who worked well in a unit. With Kane and Watling out, this is what we have.

Worryingly, I don't know what we have after Southee and Boult.
