Personally, I'd be hugely surprised if the Dhaka pitch was any different than this Chittagong one. Usually Dhaka offers a flatter track, and Chittagong a bit of turn. Not always, but usually.

We have a habit of faltering after posting large totals in the first Test of the series. That being said, if this is a different NZ team...this is a totally different Bangladesh team. We got skewered, smoked, digested and shitted out in the first Test in Zimbabwe, but went onto control the very next match at the same venue. Thats resilience. I'd imagine we've matured enough to consistently play smart cricket.

Boult seems to be about as good as Southee, give or take. The Dhaka track will be FLAT, at least as flat as this Chittagong one. Your seamers won't get anymore assisstance in Dhaka and likely will get even less. And remember this match was drawn without much contribution from Tamim and Shakib (both bat and ball, which is RARE). Count on them coming good in at least 1 out of 4 innings.

In all likelyhood, the 2nd Test will be drawn as well.

We're supposed to be weak against spin and you have 'better' spinners, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put one and two together.

Heck prepare rank turners if you want, then at least we would have gotten a result.

^^ not sure if Dan will return, has been very unfortunate with injuries since quite some time now!

NZL are a very good young team, they have a good future I believe if only they can find one good spinner who can do the job for them, otherwise they'll always struggle in the subcontinent.

Keep underestimating BD in their home conditions at ur own peril. They have at least 4 good clean striker of ball, all they need is one big partnership and couple of contributions. Not saying they will chase it, saying its not hard to chase it down, shouldn't have declared so soon. BD has nothing to lose everyone expected them to lose, NZ on other hand would look really stupid if they lose this match coz they declared
