personally i hate both indian n bangla fans u will hardly find any sensible person among them both are irriating and loud mouth but atleast indian has something to boast about their rich cricket history and their legends like sachin sehwag dravid vvs dhoni etc
what bangla fans got to boast so much ?? legends like khalid mehmood habib ul bashir and shahadut hossain???
bangla fans are no less irritating then indian fans
I think india will find it difficult to beat us in limited overs cricket in our own backyard. Our boys always bring their A game against India.
Even if it becomes true that BD becomes the best team in the world and india is second best the rivalry will still not as close as india vs Pakistan.. India vs Pakistan is much more than cricket you guys won’t understand.

This is the best time to bump this thread
I still believe indo pak rivalry is fading away
The new agressive and intense rivalry is Bangladesh vs India

Yeah right? Asia Cup 2016 Final was the A game your boys brought and Dhoni/Kohli/Dhawan combo destroyed your A-attack in your own backyard to win the Asia cup.
Once Fizz fizzled, that wasn't going to happen. Indians have been scoring at a very fair clip against him after their strategic inclusion of him in IPL.
Hmm, looks like Indians were really scared of fizz. Good to know that Indian players r feeling confident to face him now. However, fizz is a world class bowler. He'll definitely bring a new variety in his bowling.
Just read that he is the most expensive bowler in Nidahas trophy. He conceded 9.75 runs an over. If that's world class, then Thakur is the Universe Boss!

When he debuted against us in 2015 and then the series against SA, he was showing signs of future great. He was decieving batsmen with his slower balls and cutters. What went wrong for him was, his slower balls and cutters instead of being as his secret weapon, it rather become his stock balls and over used it, resulting in batsmen getting more comfortable against it. He should spend a season or two in county cricket and learn the art of swing/seam and add another dimension to his bowling, perhaps then he can truly called himself World class. As of now, he is either Hit or Miss type of bowler. On green pitches his cutters wont grip and will make him even more ineffective. He is still very young, and can have long and successful career, just need to pick up few skills. Tbh i envy Bd team when Fizz debuted against us, however its been going downhill since that dream series against India and SA.
In short 'One Trick Pony! ... Got Exposed'

Common man, IPL is having most of the best players in the world (except Pak players obviously).
Fizz already fizzled out, don't think he will get much game time in this year IPL matches.
I guessis in MI team with full of bigger and better players already.
Haha you just invited the wrath of BD fans upon yourself![]()
Lol...let them come I'm ready ..kidding.
Cricket is what bringing we all strangers from different parts of the world to this fantastic forum PP #kudos
Love to debate Cricket with anyone, anytime and anywhere2
mustafizur rehman will end kohli career
and saumya sarkar will end ashwin career
mark my words
This is the best chance for BD to win against India ,and history will not see that Kohli,Bumrah etc. weren't playing but the results of the match.
Agree 100%, BD can never replace PAK or AUS in rivalry with IND![]()

if you say so.
Best rivalry among Asian teams. No other team challenges India as consistently as bangladesh.
)
Maybe you missed the England tour? They actually beat India too, you know
Did you read my first and second sentence as two distinct statements?
Learn to get the context.
This rivalry is all about India playing with Bangladesh’s feelings all through the match, only to deliver the sucker punch in the end![]()

Glad We are spared off over the top celebrations from Bangladeshis
They bowled really well today.Had their batsmen applied little brain, they would have had a score to beat India. This rivalry is all about India playing with Bangladesh’s feelings all through the match, only to deliver the sucker punch in the end![]()
Thats like really cruel of India.
World T20 2016, Nidahas Final, and now the Asia Cup final.
They make BD fans hope and hope and hope and hope and then KaBoom knockout punch.
Feel bad for Bangladesh man. Played out of their skins, without Shakib and Tamim.
In Test, absolutely no contest. BD may lose to Ireland in Test. That's how bad the Test team is.
In LOI, BD may beat India here and there. But, India are still miles ahead.
I can't call it rivalry. It is more like a battle between a powerhouse and an underdog.
Glad to be playing another big match with our new biggest rivals in Asian bloc.
MMHS Congrats brothers
Hopefully the final will be worth watching.
Good luck to both sides![]()
There's only one rivalry I know of since I started following cricket in 1996, and that's India vs Pakistan.
