He is a Muslim actually :) - in BD, the tradition of using Arabic & Farsi words for name is changing. You'll see lots of names like Md. Mithun, Md. Mritunjay, Anik Mahmood, Shovon Ali, Probal hossain, ...... previously nick names were from Bengali words, but now it's changing.

Need sane head, first target is to bat out 50 overs. Problem is Liton is damn tiered and we don't have the batting depth today.

Relax, your emotion is getting into players - even for the sake of saying if it was biased Umpiring, game was at their hand. You have to play keeping umpires out of mind.
 
why does india even bother with the asia cup? just play a bilateral series with afghanistan and be done with it! that is the only competition in the entire continent.

India are vulnerable if their openers are dismissed early. Getting that done is more important than scoring an extra 30 runs.

What IND is doing is putting pressure by stopping runs, so that batsmen panic. Strategy against that, actually in any cricket game is to counter opponents tactics - a mature side would have made sure that they stick to the plan and phase out this period using the quick start. Babar did exactly that in CT final,and made sure that Fakhar's good work doesn't spoil in middle overs.

I hope boys learn from this game - ODI is the most tactical game where you need to play by phases. Still the game is in balance, if they can reach 201/4

Mahmudullah out - they are losing the plot here.

Won't - they would have choked under 200. This game is much complex than thinking AFG's are just one bowler & batsman short.

I wish, instead of Kohli, MSD was rested in Asia Cup - this guy add 100 runs in Asian condition just from his tactics. Indians will surely find what MSD is doing once he retires.
 
BD only have themselves to blame. Could have asked for a dream start which Liton Das provided.

240 won't be easy for IND for sure - Mash is not Sarfraz, but boys miscalculated the target. The way wicket is holding against spinners, 260 isn't a bad target to defend with 5 bowlers - they targeted 300+.

I think rohit is captain here,dhoni is senior so he is giving suggestions that doesn't mean he is bossing the game
Dhoni must perform with bat to stay in team

No, you under rate him - it's not by chance that he has achieved more than rest of IND in a decade than 80 years in LOs - both for Club & national level.

A poor Test Captain because he is extremely defensive - Test is about to get 20 wickets, but defensive game is the nature of LO cricket - those who thinks ENG is going to achieve something BIG with their bang, bang game .... I am ready to wait for that day.

No disrespect but if you can uncover his tactics this easily, I'm sure the other teams can as well. India simply have the players for these conditions.

He is performing. Problem with you guys is, you expect MSD of 2011 from him, which very few players can do. These days game is instant, and so is memory - so Indian fans are "Impressed" with Kohli's clutch chasing in useless games ... then choke when it matters.

The way I see, IND should drop these Raydus & Kartiks and ...., play Pant as WK at 6 & MAKE MSD No. 4. PAK is trying Sarfraz at 4 and MSD is a better No. 4 than Sarfraz even in 2050.

Dhoni captained in 6 t20 world cup and won 1,younis khan captained in 1 and won that
So does that mean younis is biggest ever captain
A team wins not an individual
 
Nobody should watch any final involving Bangladesh. Would you believe? 120/0 to this...no team except BD can do this.

But dhoni's captaincy couldn't let india win final,why?
And dhoni scored 0 in ct2013 where kohli saved us

Imagine if Kartik or Pant does this. They will be crucified by the fans and press.

MSD's tactics are brilliant for Asian conditions in LOI's but he was also fortunate to come at a time when we had players to execute those tactics. Outside of Asia, even in LOI's he was always quite limited. As for England, if pitches at the World Cup are super flat highways and the two kookaburras continue to provide no movement, their BANG BANG approach will get them the World Cup. No team can stop them then.

Brilliant logic. Imran won 9-10 Tests in total, Kohli probably 29 - that's makes Kohli 3 times better ......

religion and cricket dont mix. religion doesnt mix with anything. it leads to nonsense that we see everyday like two identical nations fighting each other for 70 years with no end in sight.
 
A lots of pressure building on , runs dried up. Liton das should charge here. Soumya looks like tailender.
