Mc Clenaghan getting destroyed ruthlessly by Bangladesh's finest.

Jamie How.

Don't worry even i struggle to remember all of the mediocre opening batsmen we have had over the years.

IIRC he played the WC game against us in 2011 where he couldn't get the ball of the square.

McClenaghan is definitely not suited to these type of pitches. You can't just bang it into the pitch in this part of the world.

Yea he played against Pakistan when you guys toured here last as well.

Played one fantastic innings vs England in a 300+ tied game but otherwise was rubbish.

Somehow managed to play 19 test matches as well.

Lol, I though this was only possible in Pakistan.

203 after 40 overs.

Should look to get atleast 75-80 runs in last ten overs.

Just 27 runs scored in PP. And lost two big wickets. Power Play belonged to New Zealand.

Just been following the Cricinfo reel so far.

Well recovered, Bangladesh. But come on New Zealand! Are you intent on being whitewashed again?

Still think NZ will win this.

Flat pitch. No Shakib for us. Dew already on....could be an easy chase if ball gets difficult to grip.

Really surprised that Micheal Vaughn is only 35, younger than Afridi.

270 is about right, seems like a just about par score on this pitch, note I'm not watching this match, just following cricinfo.

If Naeem gets there this will be one of the slowest hundreds ever.

Naeem gone. Another player misses his ton.

Good innings knowing he is not the best player out there.

Thats it for Southee. 3 for 34 for him.

Hope we get 50 from last 5 but can't see it happening.

Southee has only played 13 domestic one day games. The rest all at International level.

My prediction is spot on, a score of 260-270 is highly likely.

Neesham bowls a mixture of great balls, pies, waist high full tosses and pin point yorkers

Neesham and Andersons best bowling figures.

You're welcome New Zealand :D

McCullum should get a century here to complete the minnow bashing grand slam. Already has centuries vs Ireland, Canada and Zimbabwe.

I wont mind 265 given we were struggling to score 3 digits thanks to our ATG top order.

I think a match is on. good conditions for batting but kiwis have little experience of playing here barring ross baz and Williamson. we need to bowl well to win this match. Damn just goes to show what a big player shakib is

Razzak (why is his tests stats Shahadat-esque) and Mortaza has just as many if not more wickets than Shakib.

Bangladesh need be miser and look to take wickets. Ideally I would like rubel to bowl to the tail lenders only because that's the only thing he is worth doing.

Mashrafe bowling very well here....if only we had couple of pacers of his caliber...

Rutherford reminds me of Ashraful superb first.match but poor after that

I hope he gets better

Kane Williamson is in the hospital. Not sure if he will be able to bat today.

if he is in hospital then its gonna be tough for kiwis because he is a fine player

Kiwi

your team will be considered minnows if you fail to beat us. Afterall you consider our team worse than Nigeria

Yep Wagner was your best bowler lol

We all need imports, but unfortunately no one wants to settle here :yk
We need them because cricket isn't popular in NZ and with a population of only 4m, we need all the help we can get to stay competitive and build depth. I think we have strong XI but if one or two were to go down we'd be exposed and that's why we need the imports to fill the gaps.

Not really ODI's are pathetic atm they mean little to nothing.

Extended t20s where you swing and get lucky.

What a comeback so far by Mashrafe. If he hadn't had so many injuries he could have been one of the best ODI bowlers in the world. He had all the ingredients - height, pace, aggression, accuracy.

Should chase this down easy.

80 off the last 10 and 134 off the next 30.

Lovely bowling by Mash. Really unlucky not to get a few wickets.

Akthar would've retired after the WC anyway, Taylor just hastened that wait by a few days, still a great though.

Mortaza is abysmal in tests even worse than Ishant, but has a decent record in odis.
