Mis bah at least averages double than him.

I am not comparing their batting ability ofcourse

Naeem is ordinary but has good temperament. Lucky did not have to face too much of southee otherwise he would have been working on his zipper and see if he can get to tamper the ball and make the ball revers #faffing

I don't think like an Indian.

You were born in NZ so you consider NZ your home country, I don't think like a Bangladeshi as well but I am proud of being one. I have difference in opinion but not ashamed of my race.

I have cousins we were born in Australia, USA, still they say that they are Bangladeshi first who holds an US PASSPORT, Australian passport.

Bits and pieces is the future of ODIs :afridi

3 bats
2 bowlers
Rest bits and peice

not really

willaimson and neesham are not bits and pieces. they can be good useful player.

Bits and pieces is like hafeez because he is not blessed in any facets. Atleast williamson can bat and neesham looked impressive

I wasn't talking about us

Bangladesh batting well.

Should be a challenge. We just beat South Africa and England at home but this will be a different test.

Really need a good spinner on these tracks and the only one we have is Vettori who is out.

Not that tampering would make any difference between the two sides :najam

Like many say for a SC batsman the real challenge is batting overseas.

For pacers from outside its being able to perform on this pitches. Thats why i rate southee higher than any of the current bowling stocks

Highest score for Mushy against NZ.

Lets take it to three figures.

Speaking of multi skilled cricketers.

I was playing cricket on Saturday and i looked over at the game next to ours and lo and behold Chris Harris was bowling.

He would be a handful on these slow decks.

Ah Southee...you hit him for four and he keeps coming back bowling rippers even on this belter at this stage of the game.

Would love to see Anderson given another go. wasn't too shabby.

I think it's an advantage chasing these days, you know what you have to chase and can plan it out. In the end wickets in hand in the last 15 decides the game.

Yeah, he plays for the Papatoetoe club I saw him in the nets last time I played :))

Yea Southee has bowled well in SC.

His bowling in NZ hasn't been great though. I think hes turned the corner though.

Southee making mushfiq work hard. Quite a shame that Mcglenegan was smashed around even by the bangladeshi cowan-a.k.a naeem

Virat Kohli agrees with this.

same with :shakib ironically
shakib too has a good average in England and SA. Infact he averages 17 in SA. Performing in alien conditions takes the cake. On the other hand he has a 30ish average AT home

Naeem needs to go for shots now. Expecting Mushy to slow down a bit with his 100 approaching. Dare I say, we can afford to lose a wicket now with nasir, Riyad, Mominul, Gazi and mash yet to come.

Hence why I don't expect Taylor to score a double.
With ODI cricket as it is I wouldn't be surprised to see more doubles and 400+ scores.

By the end of the decade I expect most of the 8 teams to have a double century scorer.

Yea i noticed that with Sakib. He put the team on his back when Bang last toured here.

It's Sa batting vs our bowling, Amla and AB will be the key players.

Amla back? That does not bode well for Pakistan

It should be a massive shame if Pakistan loses. No offense to SA but they are not the best LOI side in the world and in these condition Pakistan should beat them easily given that Pakistan are playing their full strength sides and SA are not.

Pakistani youngsters better step up this time, otherwise it will be tough times for Pakistan in the future when :misbah and :ajmal retires. Atleast Ajmal has replacements like raza hasan. Misbah has zero replacements

Everyone other than Pakistan of course.

Can't see Pakistan chasing big scores. Then of course its not going to be easy to score a whole lot of runs against the likes of Irfan+junaid+Ajmal+Hafeez+Afridi.

South Africa should look to bat first and anything 260+ will be difficult knowing how Pakistan batting seem to collapse.

Amla hasn't returned yet, so will miss 1st ODI, as for Misbah's replacement, Sohaib Maqsood can replace him and we have the new Sehwag, Sharjeel Khan.

depends if you are playing on a typical Indian pitch. Its only india where you see 200+ individual scores and 300+ is a PAR team total these days. LOL even 360 was chased with ease.

Even this Dhaka pitch is not as flat as it seems. There was some bounce and seam movement but NZ have struggled because they have no venom in their spin attack. Williamson and Nathan are not really the type of bowlers our batsman should be troubled to play against. Vettori is a big miss on these conditions. He would have taken more wickets than any of the other so called decent spinners

Going to watch any of the matches ?

Bowlers need to be brought back into the contest. Low scoring ODIs are so much more exciting.

Can't afford Mushy pulling a Tendulkar here. :P

88 from 85 balls. And now 90 from 97. Thats two whole overs for 2 runs....and with powerplay here :(

Granted i haven't seen his other big knocks but this is the best i've seen Mushfiqar play.

As i write that he gets out lol.

mother of jinx!

mushfiq is a quality player. not to be fooled by his substandard average

Nasir on.

Perhaps the most exciting Bangladeshi batsmen currently.

And Nasir gone....bigger wicket than Mushy this. Nasir is a quality finisher :(

Can't see us getting more than 250.

Watch these two give people a lesson in Tuk Tuking now.
