Bangladesh vs Pakistan | 1st Test | Day 2 | Hafeez and Azhar put Pakistan on top

Sami Aslam looks promising.. maybe I need to take back my 250 runs comment, but you never know with Pak batting, anything is possible..

Sami's stance is not pleasing on the eyes.. but boy, he's one heck of a batsman.

Has all the shots, good against both pace and spin, good against the short ball as well.

Can play Jamshed/Anwar-esque lofted cover drives for :four too :O

Commentators are not even recognizing shots played.

This athar ali khan is very biased. Has his head stuck in "but but but Mushfiq was very confident in appealing"...

You fool, so was Hafeez in taking the review!! He knows it better if he nicked it.

Seriously should change the title to Pakistan vs Bangladesh, Commentators & Umpires.

Pak openers are showing to Bangladesh how to score at good pace on this pitch. This Bangladesh bowling is toothless to pick up even 10 wickets in the match. BANGLADESH batsmen should have taken the responsibility .Nevertheless , looks like there will be a run feast by Pak batters

Watching test cricket is way way better then ODI and t20 cricket. Love this. Keep going lads.

I know right? They don't even talk about the shots, just ramble on about their bowling. Notice the tone in Athar's voice is getting deeper and deeper as the batsmen look in sublime form. :)))

Sami playing himself in while hafeez goes all guns blazing its just the start we needed.

This is crazy captaincy. Shared was bowled just one over with the new ball and spinners are on. O Mushfiqur this is Pakistan, not Zimbabwe

Just need to be careful with quick singles here we dont want to gift any wickets away.

Awful 3rd umpiring.

Like, that was inconclusive and way too close to give out.

If the original decision is not out, you can't reverse a decision based on the likelihood. You need to be 100 percent conclusive. Ridiculous umpiring.

Wasn't conclusive, but it looked like the ball did flicked the glove, just a tiny flick..

Unlucky I'd say, but you can't dispute the decision too.

The shadow on the glove fooled the 3rd umpire. Sami very unlucky to be out.

When the umpire said not out, it has to be out without any reasonable doubt to overturn.

Too close to call with no concrete evidence. Just awful. Awful.

So much for the benefit of doubt.
That was a clear no ball from Messi chill79

The shadow confused the 3rd umpire. And Sami also slightly moved his hand which is why it seemed it hit the glove. VERY POOR DECISION

Ummm....Benefit of the doubt. You can't reverse a decision based on inconclusive evidence

So Hafeez should've been out as well. Without snicko or hotspot how can you be completely sure that there wasn't a feather of an edge there and reverse the on-field umpire's decision?

26.6 51.7 mph, and as lunch approaches, Yasir strikes, inside edge on to pad as he plays a hurrying delivery from the crease, short leg dives to take it, but replays are very tight on the no-ball check, arguably he does not have anything behind the line as he lands, but third umpire goes with the bowler 52/1

C'mon everyone, it was a close call.

To me the ball DID flick the glove.., offcourse you can say it wasn't conclusive, but it wasn't like the Umpire made a blunder or something...

Time to move on...

A RR of 2.6 in inexcusable unless its a minefield or a trampoline. There was a lot of potential to make runs yesterday when the pitch looked comparatively docile and they had wickets in hand.

???????????

This is a Test match. A run rate of 2.6 is normal.

That wasn't even close. WHERE WAS THE CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE THAT IT WAS OUT. Similarly WHERE WAS THE CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE that Sami's was out??

It was a blunder. Too close to overturn, not enough evidence.
