Why?

Pakistan's best chance of victory is to bat all day tomorrow and declare after lunch on Day 4 so that the bowlers can bowl on the last two days when the pitch breaks up.

That means that while scoring runs is important, ideally it will be done as slowly as possible.

Best to be

200-1 tonight,
280-1 Day 3 lunch,
360-2 Day 3 Tea,
450-3 Day 3 Close,
540-5 Day 4 lunch
580-7 Day 4 midway.

Much, much worse if they score 120 per session but get out for 580 at Tea on Day 3.

The key is not to have to knock off runs on Day 5. Get your runs now, at a leisurely pace.
