Bangladesh has won the toss and will bowl first.

Must win for both teams

Thranga out ct behind off Rasel. wicket keeper ct it between his legs
SL 37-2 after 5.1
 
keeper dropped the ball right before he hit the stumps. would have been runout otherwise
SL 46-2 after 7 overs
 
Jayawerdene dropped by keeper. The ball went out of the keeper gloves and almost got stuck in the pad but rolled out. If the keeper had stayed standing up the ball would have stayed but he bent and it came out
SL 49-2 after 8 overs
 
Bangladesh doing very well here. They could restrict Sri Lanka to about 150-160 and have a realistic shot at chasing the target down.
 
Whats happening here? Are people not interested in SL vs BD match?
 
I hope BD wins here. I want them to do well.

Well if BD wins here Pakistan's chances of being in the semis are almost certain as BD's nrr is quite low.

Yeah PAK would have to lose quite badly to miss out.
 
20 20 is good for cricket. It might whip some players into shape. If you want to be a true 20 20 batsman you must know how to CLEAN hit and turn 1's into 2's when the going gets tough.

Clean hitting can only be achieved through
a) Natural talent
b) Years and years of facing the bowling machine/ bowlers in the nets.

Dilshan for example is a decent batsman yet can't hit the ball cleanly.

then he wont be a stellar 20 20 batsman, which isn't hard to believe...
 
Jayawerdene have been the lucky. with already a run out missed and dropped catch, he has hit 3 balls last over which could have been ct

Don't know about 150 now. Sri Lanka would do well to get to about 140. Bangladesh in with a big chance.

Point is that most batsmen are NOT clean hitters yet they can still be good 20-20 players

point is they wil lbe good, not great

and u are proving my original point.
I said it should whip some players into shape, having to turn 1's into 2's.
Because if they are not clean hitters than turning these 1's into 2's will be their bread and butter

no my point was before that. The topic sentence. 20 20 is good for cricket, it should whip players into shape.

Then I acknowledged that to be a great 20 20 batsman you had to have 2 elements, and one of those elements would be the shape whipping element.

Totally miscalculated innings from Dilshan! Only strike rate of 123 and that in the last overs! Dilshan is rubbish! It's all Dilshan's fault! Everyone slate Dilshan!
