They won but we shouldn't read much into the results imo it will be different when they face head to head.

Completely Agree. and moreover both of them are responsible for appointing this new Capatin who hasn't played a game for over two years and is currently doing worse than what Misbah has done to the team for the last 4 years
 
And that's match, no fault of Junaids, we were only in it because of him, but looks as though we were just trying different combinations. No biggie.

True. Bangladesh will be more clinical and the victory margin will be larger. [Unless there is a no ball :p]
 
People about to go crazy about a warm up match, this place is going to be nauseating. When Pakistan wins on the 17th, then it will be a hyperbole the other way that we are a world thrasher.
 
A very good definition of batting technique I heard somewhere was, "being able to survive the good balls as well as score runs against the bad balls".
Its not at all a one sided affair.:kohli
 
Won't look too much into this. Pakistan don't take warmups seriously. We also lost 2 games against rookie NZ club teams, nothing to panic about.
 
Don't balame Jk for this because both of the last 2 boundareiea were inside edges

Gotta admit though its kinda funny how Orbis was slagging India off for the past week about talent only for Pakistan to lose to Bangladesh A 3 days later

  4. Shave off the whole team's head put them on a donkey and parade them through Dhaka

After this ODI series we will end up 8 in ranking if we play like this. Mark my word
 
Wow a loss against BCB XI. That's shocking. I'm sure we tried to win badly too, I mean I'm sure Azhar didn't want his first match as international captain to be a loss regardless of whether against BCB XI or not.

That's basically a vague but straight to the point definition what technique is. Doesn't matter though, because some people here call 'being able score off good balls comfortably' technique. :yk

1 wicket loss. We bowled part timers. Haris Sohail was bowling at the death.

It was a friendly; not too bothered. It's a young inexperienced side - players coming back after long spells out etc etc. In fact, a good wake up call. Promising to see JK doing well. Should have won, regardless but meh.

It is ridiculous reading some things here. Sensible posters are lumped in with the fools who believe this Pakistan team is fantastic. India has Kohli and he himself is enough to make him better than Pakistan for example.

I'm not worried per se, but I know the disparity between Bangladesh and Pakistan isn't as vast as individuals make it.

Not brown nosing in any way, check my posts in the "how associates are being treated" thread for clarification. I just dont buy into the "India are finished and useless" debate when its clearly untrue.

Plus there's a difference between the BCCI (who I hate) and the India team, who I have nothing against

This is professional sports. Pakistan are expected to win against BCB XI 10/10 times and they better do it.

It was BCB second XI in Bagladesh.

Not an Aussie or English domestic team in alien conditions. There is just no excuse for such horrendous display.
 
Give it a break and stop over reacting to a meaningless Warm up.

We have to be patient with this team there was lot of experimentation on going which is expected from these games

Its vast bro.Pak is pretty ahead just not as much as orbis imagines it to be.
 
showed azhar ali is not a odi player and never will be and also asad shafiq, replace these two by babar azam and shoaib malik and also replace ehsan adil, yasir shah , saeed ajmal and rahat ali with zafar gohar, zahid mehmood, sadaf hussain, shehzad rana
 
Not putting Bangladesh down because they certainly may win a few, but I don't really mind the loss. Looks like Azhar Ali was trying out a few bowlers. The lower order's batting was disappointing though.

Yup its better to lose in Warmups and try diff combinations than to win the warmups and have no idea about combinations.

No it doesnt matter as much as some here are making it to. We were hammered by club team in NZ if I recall correctly. But we still made it to quarters in WC didnt we?

If Pakistan lose the series against Bangladesh then I would be worried. I have seen too much of Pakistan cricket to worry about a loss in a side match.
 
It was only a friendly. I'm sure the Pak players didn't even play anywhere near their best. We will be more than fine against Bangladesh.

This team as it is, does not have that much of a disparity between Bangladesh. You take out your, hate him or not, most consistent and best batsmen in Shehzad and replace him with a worse Azhar, whom everyone thought would come in and be a better version of Shehzad. I once again agree he needs to be taught a lesson, but anyone who keeps reiterating that Azhar>Shehzad in ODI's is looking at Shehzad's personality, and nothing in terms of cricketing merit.

Shafiq who is less than useless is on the team.

With Maqsood injured, Nasim is not an international cricketer.

We have the pieces, they are either just being disciplined, injured, or banned, so this squad right now is not that far from Bangladesh.
 
We should team up 15th of April alongside 17 December and make them both National mourninh days with effigies of Waqar and players burnt in Islamabad and televised on National TV.

It doesn't matter, they have attitude problems. We need people who are timid and submissive, doesn't matter if they score runs, as long as they make Waqar and Misbah feel superior.
 
Yeah, nothing to be ashamed about at all. We only lost to the BCB XI, a team of a high calibre.

Well if you're able to survive as well as scoring runs against the good balls "rather more consistently", aren't you a world class batsman then?:sanga

I agree but i'm not any of us watched the match might as well as give this team and Azhar one chance on the series and see what he is trying to achieve.

We must remember that this was a practice match so we must not overact. We need to limit ourselves to burning only 3 effigies (so pick your player effigies well), only break your oldest TV, save the new one for a more heartbreaking moment, and of course only give the BCCI 70% responsibility for our loss, no higher.

That's true.
Being a world lass batsman is mostly dependent on technique, discipline, and temperament. Having good technique is totally independent.
