Bill Gates warned of 'huge' number of migrants waiting to come to Europe

He said generosity of European leaders will only encourage more to come

61-year-old said Europe must make it more difficult for people to cross border

Instead he suggested spending more money on foreign aid to treat the problem

Speaking in an interview with the German Welt am Sonntag newspaper, he said: 'On the one hand you want to demonstrate generosity and take in refugees. 'But the more generous you are, the more word gets around about this — which in turn motivates more people to leave Africa. 'Germany cannot possibly take in the huge number of people who are wanting to make their way to Europe.'

He added: 'Europe must make it more difficult for Africans to reach the continent via the current transit routes.'

He may have been a good businessman but seems a complete idiot when it comes to geo-politics.

Europe isn't being kind, it claimed it cares about the people in Syria, Lybia, Yemen etc which is why it has been bombing them into freedom, so naturally they should take in the people they care so much about.

Got to understand the context, he is probably going to fundraisers. Hard to get people to pledge you money if you are critiquing them

Growing number of Europeans would agree with Clinton, especially seeing the adverse effects that immigration has had in countries like Sweden and to an extent Germany. Many of the immigrants entering are economic immigrants, and most of them are young adult males. Where are the women and children? You simply can't bring in massive number of people from third world countries and expect them to integrate in a society overnight. Migrant suburbs in Sweden for example, are heavily crime ridden. Most of the immigrants who arrived there in 2016 are still jobless with over 50% of the country's welfare payments going to them.

Refusal to have an healthy debate about this and branding anyone who is against mass immigration as 'Islamophobes' and 'racists' by the far-left media , is leading to an even more intense hatred of the Islamic community in Europe.

An example would be the reaction to Youtube's recent video 'More Than A Refugee'. The dislike to like ratio is almost 75-25. The reaction has been so negative that YouTube has been filtering comments and putting a limit to dislikes on the video to prevent it from being one of the most disliked videos in youtube history.

In my opinion, there should be strong vetting processes at the borders to know the real war refugees from the fake ones. And there should be more international pressure on the countries closer to Syria , that are able to house refugees, to take them in.

Well if Europe wasn't busy siding with America in killing so many innocents and destroying their lives and homes then these people would probably not be coming in thousands. It all started after the west's so called war on terror. Hungry and desperate people don't follow any law.

Omg look at the responses in this thread. What has Germany and Sweden got to do with the bombing in Syria. Also, looking at the posts of this thread, it seems as if PP guys only care about life of Muslim asylum seekers, not the African refugees. Coz the vast majority of migrants or refugee's are Muslim. Coz the countries bombed by the west are Muslim ones. The African refugee's are mostly Muslim as well. No one is making a us against then issue other then yourself.
