Bangladesh cricket team (most) has reached to Australia for a training camp just before the series with new Zealand. 22/24 players will train there and they will play some practice match with 2 BBL teams. Some of them will return after that and others will go to new Zealand for the series.

Bangladesh haven't played any bilateral series with New Zealand for about 7 years. But they played there in the last world cup where they managed to go to quarter final. They played very well against new Zealand compared to other teams ( vs sl won by 98 runs,vs Scott won by 3wkt with 150 balls remaining,vs Eng they won by 8wkt,vs Aus won by 1 wkt). Though they lost but showed very good resistance against new Zealand.bangladesh made 288/7 batting First and and new Zealand won it by toiling 3 wickets in the 49th over. As nz being very dominant with others and being the finalist of world cup, bangladesh's effort must be praiseworthy.

After that world cup Bangladesh became a resurgent team with the addition of many superb youngsters like mustafiz, miraz etc. After world cup they won ODI series against Ind,sa,zim and white washed Pak both ODI and t20 and did very well in test against sa and others and won a test against England which could be 2-0 and won an ODI with them which could be 3-0. Overall it was very dominant series against England.

Though all of these performance were in home and bf got the home advantages but surely they have improve a lot as a team and these success were no fluke. That's why expectations from them is all time high. Now a days every big team struggles higher when they play outside their comfort zone. Few days ago Pak lost ODI series very poorly in NZ and NZ lost ODI series very poorly against Aus in Aus.

Bangladesh being high of there form and NZ just being hammered and demoralized in Aus ,is there any chance of Bangladesh winning match/matches of ODI,Test or T20I series??? What will be the outcome of those series??? What is your prediction of those series?

What is the schedule

I think they can sneak a win in ODIs if it's a 5 match series

Yes Test series 2-0 and will thrash Newzealand and declared themselves the number one test side in world, Hahahaha joking just one odi realistically

You're a good chance of winning the ODI series, I think we should beat you comfortably in the T20's though.

Bangladesh's batting looks solid and you have some good bowlers.

NZ on the other hand are dejected and full of players who shouldn't be playing international cricket.

Our hopes will rest on Guptill, I get the feeling we will struggle a lot in every game he doesn't score.

No idea how the Tests will go.

Good of them to get there early to acclimatize etc and ODIs should be close affairs.

Might sneak in a couple of ODI wins apart from that I don't see Bangladesh beating NZ in tests.

I would say that BD have a good chance in ODIs and T20s. Not quite there yet as a team in Tests.

Why not?

Boys are coming just after BPL & to my surprise, most of the news makers in BPL this years are local boys, so there must be improvement in the mid level players, which eventually will force the National team to perform for their spot. Kayes, Mahmud.... can't keep their place with 29 average. Same goes for the bowlers as well.

# ODI will be extremely competitive, though we might lose 3-0, but can win 2-1 as well.
# T20 is an instant game - Kiwis have much better resources, but this is a game where one innings from one batsman can change the equation. Power hitting is our problem, but a lot of that'll be covered by the size of Kiwi grounds. BD players are far better than PAK or WI team when it comes to rotate strike - if pacers bowl well, T20 will be close as well
# Test is different proposition as better team gets 4 bites at the cherry. In past, at home, we have lost 4 Tests to AUS, NZ, SAF & IND after winning or dominating 2, even 3 Innings, only for the better side to steal it in one innings or even in a session. That's why upset in Tests are very rare - ZIM winning against PAK is probably the upset of history. A lot of things has to go in favor, if we are to compete a Test for 5 days - if we can do that for both Tests, we can steal one, but very much unlikely.

Bowling line up is too weak, batting is ok but not brilliant. Will be a tough tour for bangla brothers...

I think Bangladesh has better chance to win both test and ODI series. NZ is an average team (They struggle against mediocre team like us) with low in confidence after whitewashed by Australia. Bangladesh has far better bowlers than New Zealand and batsman are almost similar to New Zealand.

It'll be a competitive series no doubt, I think Bangladesh will win the ODI series and show fight in tests and T20s

It's little harsh calling NZ mediocre in their own den considering bd players has little experience outside home and not playing bilateral on those conditions for many years. May be they(NZ) struggle against Pak bcoz Pak played well as Pak were touring from Eng and they were accustomed with that alien condition. It's unfair to wish bd doing better than Pak as bd tour very little compared to Pak and experience which matters.

Let us play against Australia. Than you will see how worse our team actually is. Australia should win comfortably 8-0. We will be lucky if we can van take test matches to day 4. ODI what can I say? Under Azhar captaincy and tuktuking Australia will easy score couple of 400+ runs and we will end up loosing by 200+.

But your bowlers done very well in practice match. Why you are thinking aussies will do couple of 400+ score???

What??? What do you mean??

Apki means yours
muh mein means in mouth

ghee is more delicious than aloo, which you must know as it's part of your name, you can add paratha with that.
And sarker is an honorary title of hierarchy

So, he is inviting you for a good treat, for your great wishes (& I am explaining Hindi to someone with a name of aloo paratha:()

What??? What do you mean??

It's a proverb. Translation is difficult.

word by word meaning is : (Putting) sugar and ghee in your mouth.

Meaning (some thing like): If someone become very happy with anyone's words and wish that those words come true then this proverb is used in some sub continent languages (Hindi,Urdu).

In our Bengali form it is like " Apnar mukhe ful chandan poruk". Ful(flower) and chandan(sandal) are used instead of ghee and sugar in Bengali proverb.

:D

:) I understood what it meant in urdu but I didn't know what you meant by it:))

I think Bangladesh will struggle in the Test matches because playing so excessively at home has made vulnerable to the conditions in other countries.

I think they could at best bag a win each in the ODIs and T20Is.

You are being so generous to us. :)

Not many chances in test or T20's.

I think their team is pretty good in ODI. Mahmadullah, Shakib, Tamim and Mustafizur are all good players.

Hope they leave Somaya Sarkar who has been horrible out of form for more then 1 year.
