Can India play their own Bazzball style cricket?

Currently India have better attacking set of batsman than England.
Rohit Sharma, Yashawi, Gill, Kohli, Sarfaraz, Iyer and Jurel are more than capable of scoring runs at brisk rate.
Inclusion of Rishab Pant, Prithwi Shaw, Hardik and Suryakumar will further improve scoring rate.

I think Bazzball will be the future of test cricket as we'll see more result oriented test matches.

These Indian batting lineup will be scary if they adopt fast scoring approach in test cricket.

Play normally in normal pitches ..play Bazball in extreme batting or bowling friendly pitches..

Bazball is rubbish. It is a topi drama by England and an unsustainable way to play Test cricket.

India, or any other team, does not need to play Bazball because they have proper Test cricketers who can win matches by playing proper Test cricket.

India doesn’t need to change anything about the way they play and approach Test cricket. The only thing they need to be careful about is to manage the transition to the next generation more carefully.

You wouldn’t want to lose Ashwin, Jadeja, Shami, Bumrah and also the duo of Kohli and Rohit at the same time but there is a danger that might happen and it will have some impact, at least short-term, on their results.

Well county players know they aren't going to break into a stokes/mcculum team by tuk tuking. So those that are pushing for a national place are influenced by Bazball and decide to play faster.

Each batsman shouldn't deviate too much from their nature. It will impact their performance and team performance in the long run. Players with multiple gears can do. But not everyone. Pujara for all his defiance he used to play some fast knocks when he was new. Batsmen have to make the call sensing the pulse. Not the captain or team management unless it is for declaration

Bazball approach is a disgrace! It's one thing to play with an aggressive mindset, in fact I have always advocated that. A strike rate between 50 to 55 is essential (more is better) in today's Test cricket.

But to try and strike at run a ball or even more makes no sense. Remember, it's ODI cricket that has changed because of the 2 new ball rule and multiple other factors, Test cricket has mostly remained the same.

Thanks. A lot more clarity there. So IPL salary is the lower/mid range which is fair enough.

So someone like Pujara can make 2 million USD playing just the tests. And domestic FC cricketers can make roughly 100k USD. Not bad at all.

Adopting good things is good for you. English team may not have a team to beat India but that doesn't mean their playing style is without value.

A failing student not getting first class isn't a failure.

England won 1 test in 17 before "Bazball'. They were beyond pathetic. Their new approach has bought them value.

I don't want India or Australia to emulate it wholesale. I just want more batters to be proactive. Some batters already do this. Head and Pant are better bazballers than anyone from England.
