Today TMC spokesman said Mamata Banerjee should lead India alliance instead of Rahul Gandhi....

I don't agree with this, I condemn TMC spokesman. Before every election, Rahul taking Yatra, has Mamata done this ever? Also Rahul Gandhi is a global leader, besides Bangkok, Rahul visited US, Venezuela, etc. Also Rahul Gandhi's popularity on rise in Pakistan, Bangladesh. Ex cricketer Shahid Afridi openly supported Rahul Gandhi.

I don’t think your feeble mind will understand what I am saying but I’ll give it a try once. That’s all time I will waste on you, if you don’t understand it then don’t reply.

The question here is not about Modi or how to defeat Modi or Rahul Gandhi or congress. The post you quoted clearly shows what jumlas are. Currently BJP is using those Jumlas, we will become superpower by 2025, then 2040 and in 2035 they will say we will become by 2070. If congress is in power in 2040 they will say BJP set the country back 50 years and we will make India a super power by 20xx. That’s how politics and jumlas work.

The only way India will ever become a superpower is when the majority of citizens break the shackles of slavery imposed by the powerful and understand their own rights, responsibilities and true worth. Only then India will get a political class competent and strong enough to change the systems and actually make the country a superpower.

This is a point which you won’t understand since your mind is too limited to look beyond BJP or Congress.
That’s why I don’t indulge with low IQ people on these forums anymore since they don’t have the ability to think beyond what their limited mindset allows them to.
Then instead of espousing this kheyali pulao in this thread ..open a new thread on how Indian population is not enlightened enough. This thread is about whether Rahul Gandhi can be pm or not. Not whether Indian citizens are educated or aware enough.

You have a simplistic view of the world..I can guess you are still young and idealistic.india is a low education low wealth per capita poor country...with enough diversity. People have different issues locally with economy being a common thread. Lack of jobs being main. However population corruption and the erstwhile unplanned growth makes it harder to change versus a green field project. The first thing for Indians is education to be more aware. Social media helps a bit in the awareness.
Secondly democracy ensures you are not a slave but when people don't have the basics they don't vote for some lofty long term goals..they vote for their basic short term survival. Lastly the alternatives before Indian electorate or even developed countries are very poor...because the true professionals or cleaner people stay away from Politics leaving the gutter class people at power.

Rahul Gandhi seems like a pleasant fella. Complete opposite of that retarded chaiwala known as Modi. :inti

Democracy is messy business and for better or worse, that's what we've chosen.

The majority of Indians don't trust or like Modi. However, there's enough voters to maintain a majority. We've got to live with that and make the best of it. We'll break out at some point and get rid of extreme people Modi for lesser ones like the western countries have. Maybe just maybe we'll reach that superpower status you're dreaming about.

This thread was open 2-3 years ago and anyone with a functioning brain/double digit IQ or higher knows that Rahul Gandhi will not become the PM of India (barring lot of things aligning, probability for which is very low).
This thread should have been closed after 1 page, yet it is running for 18 pages. Why? Because the discussion isn’t about Rahul Gandhi becoming the PM or not, there is 0 debate on that front.

You quoted my post from years ago which was on a completely different topic than Rahul Gandhi becoming PM.

For the Second part of your post, I somewhat agree with, it is not high level as you still miss lot of tangibles on how the world works but I give you benefit of doubt as it’s difficult to write everything.

My point wasn’t about dreaming to become superpower. Point is we have to accept the fact where we stand and where we are instead of blind worshipping politicians and defending them blindly, only then we will actually have a chance to become what we claim to be.

Remember the name ain't that right @pillionrider

How many children did Gandhi even have?
I thought 3 but Wiki says 4. However, I don't think of his grand or great-grand children are active in politics in India today. Rajmohan Gandhi joined the Aam Aadmi Party but even he's more of an academic.

Rahul Gandhi (and Indira, Rajiv etc.) though is from the Nehru family. Indira Nehru married a Parsi dude called Feroze Gandhi. Quite a coincidence and it confuses a lot of people

Feroze's original name was Feroze Ghandy, he changed it to Gandhi to fool the public as they felt the public would think they are related to Mohandas Gandhi and the plan worked brilliantly; it fooled the public, they got the votes, Nehru family ruled for decades, looted the country beyond anyone's wildest imagination but Karma appeared in the form of Pappu and now its all over :( forever..

As far as I know, he changed his name long before he married Indira Gandhi. He was enamored of the Mahatma and became a fervent supporter.

Either way, there's no clear evidence either way. Everyone choses to believe their own agenda.

To be fair though, the Nehru name had massive cache of it's own and Indira definitely didn't need the Gandhi name to win election. It was very clear she was Nehru's heir and the public voted for her on that basis...nothing to do with the Gandhi name.

Did he change the spelling by deed pole officially?

If chaiwala and likes of him stay in power, you can expect to see a smaller and balkanized India in the long run.

Do you want that to happen? :inti
who is going balkanize India? the BD vermin? They busy earning scraps from sweeping streets.

What about all the killings of minorities happening in Bangladesh under the Bangla leader Yunus sweep_shot bro ?

You haven't commented on it on the other thread 😔

Reason why Congress as party is dead

Congress will never come back everytime my Italian Ammayi's son opens his mouth, BJP gets a 100 free votes without lifting a finger.

And once again Pappu and his party has delivered, delivered a loss that is.

BJP emerges as the single largest party with 90 seats after the Mumbai recent election polls.

Remember the name, Pappu the Gandhi... Alhamdulillah

🤡

Nepotism and incompetence has no place in India. We unfortunately is yet to get rid of corruption and indiscipline.

I think it would be good for India if Rahul Gandhi wins.

Chaiwala is bad for India as he made India globally and regionally isolated. :inti

Piyush Goyal slams Rahul Gandhi over US deal, says farmers fully protected

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, calling him a “habitual liar” and accusing him of spreading lies about the India-US interim trade deal. Goyal asserted that farmers’ interests were “fully protected” under the agreement.

In a video message posted on X, Goyal described Gandhi as someone who “does not want farmers to be empowered” and alleged that he has no concern for “Maa Bharat or the well-being of farmers and youth”.

Hitting out at the Congress leader, Goyal said, “In a video released today, he has broken all records of speaking falsehoods and making baseless allegations. He is misleading our farmers with his fake narrative and trying to provoke our annadatas. He has never cared for our motherland, nor can we expect him to work for a strong and prosperous future for India.”

Goyal further said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has always been empathetic towards our kisan brothers and sisters. He has always put the interest of farmers first and taken all decisions to ensure their prosperity. PM Modi has implemented several schemes which have transformed the lives of crores of farmers.”

Further hitting out at Rahul, Goyal said, “I don’t think Rahul ji ever cared for the benefit of our farmers or will ever understand what is good for our annadatas.” He added, “No matter how much lies you peddle or attempt to mislead our farmers, or even attempt to discredit the country…”

Reassuring farmers about the recently concluded interim trade deal with the US, Goyal said, “In the recent trade deal with the United States of America, the interests of farmers have been kept paramount and fully protected.”

“In this agreement, all major crops of our farmers including wheat, rice, millets, soyameal, corn, GM food products, spices and potato have been fully safeguarded. We have also fully protected the interests of farmers producing major fruits including apples," he added.

“India’s doors have not been opened to dairy products or poultry,” he emphasised.

Goyal said, “The truth is that many of our products, including basmati rice, fruits, spices, tea, marine products and many more will find new markets, increase exports and boost farmers’ incomes."

“We have opened huge markets for cotton textile exports which will increase the demand for cotton manifold, benefiting cotton farmers. Every decision taken in the trade deal is in the best interests of Maa Bharat, and 140 crore Indians including our farmers and youth,” he said.

The Union Minister said the US trade deal would benefit farmers through higher exports of agricultural output and increased demand leading to higher prices and prosperity of the farmers.

Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also criticised Gandhi, calling his claims “baseless”.

In a video posted on X, Chouhan said, “Rahul Gandhi is a liar. He has nothing to do with the country and its farmers. He does not like the empowerment of farmers. He is always seen saying anti-national things. He broke all records of lying in his video message.”

He asserted that PM Narendra Modi has consistently acted in farmers’ interests and that schemes launched under his leadership have changed their lives. “Farmers’ interest has been fully protected in the recent deal signed with America,” he said.

The remarks from the ministers came after Gandhi, in a video message on X, accused Prime Minister Modi of being “anti-farmer” and of “selling” the country through the India-US interim trade deal.

Last week, India and the US agreed on the framework for an Interim Agreement on reciprocal and mutually beneficial trade, marking a significant step towards a full-fledged US–India Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA). The agreement will involve the elimination or reduction of tariffs on US industrial goods and a wide range of food and agricultural products.
