Terrible bowling, terrible fielding, terrible tactics, terrible leadership, terrible selection.
We are a joke.
Musa is inexperienced so one can understand him going for 5.46 rpo and can argue his selection. However Yasir is as experienced a spinner as it gets with a lot of international as well domestic experience, him going for 6.21 rpo is inexcusable.
On the positive side, those bowlers who missed out like Ehsan And Sameen are the future ATGs of Pakistan.

You (and everyone else who is saying this) are missing the point.
Why were people advocating for the likes of Ehsan Adil and Sameen Gul before the squads were announced?
Because they have some of the ingredients required to succeed in Australia.
Both are fairly tall, therefore they have more room for error (not my words, the commentators have pointed out that short bowlers have lesser room for error). Both are at a phase in their careers where generally you expect bowlers to fare well, at 20/26 years of age. They aren't completely under-cooked, nor are they over the hill.
Sameen Gul has played 20 FC matches and has a respectable record. Ehsan Adil is more experienced with 60 FC matches under his belt, plus he's got to be a bit more mature at 26 years old.
These are objective reasons for picking bowlers.
-------------------------
Instead, we got:
A 19-year-old short pacer, who has been struggling in domestic cricket and averaged 40 this season, with the worst economy overall amongst all bowlers in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Who had played a grand total of 5 FC games before selection and is clearly not ready for any level of international cricket.
A 33-year-old trundler who last played for Pakistan 3 years ago and is clearly past his best - When the squads were announced, his stats in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy were 5 wickets after 4 matches at an average of 55. All because he played under Misbah a few years ago and Misbah liked him.
There are no objective reasons to select these two. Pakistan has already been handicapped in this tour by opting for a 4-man attack. With Imran/Musa playing in either of the matches along with the equally incapable Yasir, Pakistan's bowling has been completely nullified and turned into a 2-man attack with the others rendered liabilities. With such bowlers, it is absolutely impossible to compete with Australia. The bowlers are hapless and are conceding runs for fun. It's not their fault, but the management's.
No one is saying that Pakistan would have been able to draw even one of the Tests if selections were different, let alone harbour any thoughts about victory. But the humiliation of Australia being 300/1 in both matches MAY have been avoided. Or not - but at least there would have been some reasoning to explain the selections besides "Imran is my friend" and "I liked Musa at Islamabad United".

Rubbish!Best thing for Pak fans to do is to accept that they don't have the bowlers to win Tests in Australia and look forward to improve on that regard. All this over-hyping of players not playing is pretty much useless.
But must play 5 bowlers, 4 pacers and a spinner, a leggie but not yasir.
So basically your argument is
1. We would still have lost the game had those guys been picked but at least we would not have complained about the selection bias.
2. They might have performed better IN AUSTRALIA than the ones that came based on Pakistani performances.
I have two issues.
1. We have already had a chain of events done where Abbas was considered the vital cog in the Brisbane test and him being missing was the reason for such a bitter defeat.
But WHEN abbas DID BOWL, he looked downright ordinary and just another version of the spinner Imran.
So after raucous claims and "huge mistake by NOT playing ABBAS, most supporters are now throwing their ire at Musa Khan and ignoring the complete failure Abbas has been so far while just a test ago he was the saviour.
2. None of the bowlers who play domestics in pakistan are expected to produce any tangible results when transitioning to Australian soil.
Heck our team of ATGs like Saqlain, Wasim and Shoaib couldnt win a test here after a multiude of experience
You say Sameen and Ehsan would have performed better ?
I really dont think so because EVERY NAME thrown about in the last 12 months is just another HYPE MACHINE.
Lets forget about this tour because the results were NOT changing even if Wasim akram himself was bowling here.
Rubbish!
HARIS RAUF! This guy is a raw young version of waqar younis.
Naseem shah
Shaheen shah afridi
This trio is the future of pak.fast bowling!
With one of the following as 4th seamer
Ehsan adil
Sameen gul
These bowlers will get you 20 aussie wickets in australia!
But must play 5 bowlers, 4 pacers and a spinner, a leggie but not yasir.
Then you won't get any runs. Aus never plays 5 specialist bowlers
We are not australia. Then you won't get any runs. Aus never plays 5 specialist bowlers
Babar , imam and shafiq might have something to say about that.Believe me Aussie will get the job done with 3 bowlers against Pakistan
Haris ehsan and sameen are superior to the pace bowlers playing today, with the exception of shaheen.Yeah sure. As I said before, any player who's not playing will become world conquering for that day.
Haris Rauf and Sameen Gul have never played international cricket before. And Ehsan Adil averages 53 in the 3 Tests he's played. But somehow these will pick 20 Aussie wickets. There needs to be some logic when you present a statement.
The situation is as follows no interest in the team situation I would rather follow when Babar is batting of Naseem is balling.
Naseem is not playing
If the likes of warner and labu can bat, surely Babar can. Mark my words - Babar will give a masterclass in batting in PAK first innings and AUS inn will be forgotten.
I am talking about the current situation of our team, not only the current match I know they picked Musa for some reason.
The first session pak bowled well, especially shaheen.Caught session and a half. Bowling was toothless. It was almost like they have to gift their wickets.
Our batting is quite decent, we will lose because we can score 300 or maybe 400, but we cant chase 600+.Pak is bowling like a children's team to AUS.
Once they bowl we will start batting like kids. Its all in the mentality.
Kick a man or in this case a team's supporters, when they are down, why dont you brother?Even our pathetic BD bowlers won't do worse than these Pak bowlers in Australia. I could not even imagine once in my bad dreams that one day I have to see these pathetic state of Pak bowling
Just saw the highlights video on Youtube and closed the browser down immediately soon after seeing Shaheen's two misfields and those dollies from the new kid Musa. This is disrespect to cricket the game and the ardent followers of the game. Even Gully cricketers would have shown better discipline than these rookies!
I don't understand the idea of dragging children from school to the national team. Just because someone has pace doesn't mean he is fit to play for national team.
There is just something mysterious and haunting about Pakistan playing cricket in Australia. They could probably be playing Wasim and Waqar and still i wont be surprised if i get to know Australia is 300/1. Taking nothing away from Pakistani bowlers talent but for some strange reasons things never seem to go in their favour there. I really don't think Aussie batting should be doing this against any team right now. India playing test cricket in England in the last decade is turning out to be similar. We have like 2 wins and a dozen losses and i dont think we were that bad either.

I know bro, i was just joking with you,My comment expressed my frustration not any trolling or poking at Pak supporters. I am a fan of Pak fast bowling
But your batting wouldn't do any better either

Yes, I agree. Our batting is as fragile as our bowling. But apart from Babar, Pak too don't have any decent test batsman now who can really fight. My aim was not to compare between these two sides, Pak is definitely a better test side, but what I want to point here is that Pakistan is going downwards very fast.
Musa is inexperienced so one can understand him going for 5.46 rpo and can argue his selection. However Yasir is as experienced a spinner as it gets with a lot of international as well domestic experience, him going for 6.21 rpo is inexcusable.
We are not australia.
At uae we only play 4 bowlers.
Like ifti is going to score any runs.
Imam, babar, shafiq and rizwan are capable of scoring centuries on this flat pitch.
Shaan and azhar can score 50s.
I believe the pink kookaburra goes soft way too soon. Even worse than red kookaburra. That's why SG was forced to manufacture one so abruptly.
