Charity begins at home then why not Mohsin Naqvi resigns himself besides doing the great clean up in PCB?

Should Mohsin Naqvi resign himself besides doing the great clean up?

The argument of new comer does not apply to Mohsin Naqvi as he himself removed Shaheen Afridi after a single series as captain and forced Hafeez to resign too after a maiden campaign.

And now under his tenure following is Pakistan team's performance

*Pakistan Women lost ODI series to WI Women at Home
*Pakistan Women lost T2OI series to WI Women at Home
*Pakistan Women lost ODI series to Eng Women Away

*Pakistan team lost T20I series to New Zealand Away
*Pakistan lost T20I series to England Away
*Pakistan failed to win T20I series at Home against New Zealand C Team
*Pakistan lost to USA in a T20 World Cup encounter and for the first time get knocked out before Super 8 stage

So besides cleaning the mess at PCB, it is pertinent for Mohsin Naqvi to resign himself as his presence will ensure just further humiliations for us.

Need him to negotiate the tricky CT 2025 tournament. He will be in his elements then.

Let’s bring Ramiz Raja back to bring back the Dosti Yaari culture!

How many new chairmen do you want? Want to see a world record? :ROFLMAO:

This guy seems better than the rest. Ramiz was a disaster.

Why should he resign?

I am sick of the players escaping accountability and only the chairman, selectors, coaches, PCB officials getting the sack.

Need to strictly hold the players accountable for a change.

Another topi drama??

As per reports, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering changes to its selection committee following the team's poor performance in the T20 World Cup 2024. There are discussions about reducing the size of the committee and potentially appointing a chairman. The future of current committee member Wahab Riaz is uncertain, with reports suggesting he might not be chosen for the chairman position due to public perceptions. The PCB is also reviewing the captaincy of Babar Azam, but no immediate decision is expected unless Babar himself decides to step down. The public and fans have shown strong support for Babar Azam, urging him to continue as captain despite the team's performance.

It doesn't need a chairman, why do they always look for a middle man. I trust Kirsten's cricketing brain over anyone in Pakistan so make him chief selector and feed him with stats, videos and scout reports.

Yep just like in Manchester City its all about Pep Guardialo

Yeah and this is the equivalent of a sporting director holding all the shots on who is bought and sold.

It's unnecessary micro management for someone qualified and experienced whos team plays just a few series a year.

I get it, its a safety net for a Pakistani coach who needs his decisions sanity checked but we need to strip out the layers of decision making, streamline it to get rid of bad judgement, parchi and dosti culture.

Ramiz let go of Wasim Khan from the Cricket Board because he wanted full control of the Cricket Board. Next he proceeded to spoil Babar Azam and his gang and made T-20 Cricket the top priority of the Board. Even in a recent interview he was asked whether Babar did the right thing by re-accepting the captaincy of the Pakistani team a few months after resigning as oppossed to refusing and supporting Shaheen instead and Ramiz had a badniyat smirk on his face "If someone offered you the captaincy, why should you refuse it? Don't blame the person accepting the offer, blame the person who made the offer". He is a dishonest two faced fan girl of Babar Azam who can never admit he is wrong.

Why not bring some Australian Chairman too, atleast either he would actually clean the mess or resign in case of failure. Can't recall any foreign chairman in history of PCB.

I can bet on it that Mohsin Naqvi will never remove his partner in crime instead would just shuffle him from one department to another

According to the report, Wahab Riaz’s departure from the committee “remains a very strong possibility”.

The report added the PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also wants to “publicly demonstrate no one is immune from adverse consequences”.

The PCB and Riaz are also frustrated over the public perception that he runs the selection committee as its de facto head while also facing majority of the criticism.

On the other hand, according to Geo News, Pakistan head coach Gary Kirsten said that only those players will be part of the team going forward who value unity, focus on fitness and improve their skill set.

According to sources, Kirsten, in a candid discussion with the Pakistan team in the dressing room after its exit from the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, said that the fitness level of the players is not up to the mark.

Kirsten added that the team is also far behind in terms of skill level as compared with the rest of the world.

Despite playing so much cricket, no one knows which shot to play and when, Kirsten further stated.

The former South African cricketer also said that, ever since he has joined, he has noticed that there is no unity in this team. Kirsten said that players don't support each other and he hasn't seen a situation like this before despite working with many teams.

Kirsten has clearly stated that the players who improves these aforementioned things will be in the team, otherwise they will be excluded.

Pakistan's shock defeat to the USA and loss to India meant they were eliminated from the T20 World Cup before the Super 8.

Pakistan beat Ireland by three wickets in their last match of the event which was held at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida on Sunday.

The win against Ireland ensured that Pakistan finished third in Group A with two wins, including victory against Canada, from four games.

Exactly!!! Our current players are too hard to be removed. Looking at Babar's smile in the airport clearly shows that everything under control on these Babar/Shahee/Rizwan group. Kristen after few series will be removed to save Babar. Same thing to Wahab co.
Bottom line is "If the students are dull no amount of coaching/facilities/helping hands will not help those students to pass".

What about Babar? How come he is immune to hold accountabilities? Chairman, Coaches and selectors getting fired since 2019 but same bunch of players playing since then. Our mafia players need to be removed/ban from cricket for the betterment of Pakistan cricket.

Mohsin is going to attend the final tomorrow, fear for South Africa as his presence turned out to be a jinx for another green team before against India
