Some good hitting from Hafeez. Looks to have hit some form, finally.

Magnificent innings from Hafeez. It shows what he can do when he bats with the right mentality. This is a match saving/match-winning knock; people shouldn't under-estimate it just because it was only 10 balls. 30 (10) is every bit as big a normal 70 or 80 in T20.

your making it too much

Hafeez can be a world class batsman across all formats if he bats at at 4/5.

I think yes. As long as he is not around for the second new ball but having said that, it would be interesting to see how he goes against when he has runs and deliveries under his belt.

A Hafeez at 60 (120) balls is likely to do better against the new ball compared to a Hafeez just starting his innings.

Malik striking the ball brilliantly. Great timing, technique and footwork. Looks a different player in domestic leagues.

Pressure..he hasn't been able to settle his spot in the team for a long long time which keeps him underpressure whenever he comes out to bat for Pakistan...Also Media is very much responsible..certain channels run campaigns against players like Malik,Kami when they are selected so they watch tvs, read papers the pressure gets double..Media is very influential in our selection..

I would be happy if Malik goes on to score 80+. That would make him the highest runner in the series for now.

Inexcusable really the results WI get at international level with the amount of talent there. Complete fast bowlers at domestic set up is a rarity. Darren Bravo, Nicholas Pooran and few others are all outrageously talented and had any of them been from say England they would have been hyped to the moon.

Selectors are the problem. These old guys they are picking are past their prime

Selfish Smith's distraction costs the Tridents and they deserve to lose.

If I was the Tridents coach I would have dropped Smith for one game after his first century to teach him a lesson. In that game he nurdled around and blocked his way to a hundred in the slog overs. It didn't cost the team, but on another day it could have, and that other day was today. When he could have finished the game, he instead nurdled singles and gave strike to the new batsmen and Ronsford and Santokie could keep them on strike and build pressure while Smith went for the 100. From a position of dominance, Smith got it to 11 off 6, an utterly shameful display.

I wonder how many more years before Cricket gets modernized like any other sport, and people won't just shrug their shoulders about players ignoring obvious team goals to get to artificial milestones.

On another note congratulations to Hafeez, and young Beaton who showed terrific character and great skill at bowling accurate yorkers. Hopefully he has a terrific career ahead of him.

Hafeez should bat at #4. At #6, we would be wasting his ability. He should avoid the new ball, and then build.

What a fabulous innings today!

how come trident lost ? they had it so easy and then downhill. i think smith played it selfishly

what was that? a big blow to me because i closed the match when the last over was just to begin and i thought tridents have won
what the selfish smith is

Hafeez at 4/5 would give ideal balance to our team and at 4/5 he wont face new ball...

This should be batting order
