Apart from the cricket being played, for me it's always been a lot of joy to track the development work going on in many venues.

Growing up you always looked up to popular state of the art venues in developed countries and wished you had some good venues back home, not at par but at least to be considered good. I must things have changed dramatically in South Asia. India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka have all done a lot of work. Many new venues have been added.

Recently Aussies have revamped some of their venues to the next level. Perth Stadium and the revamped SCG look absolutely stunning.

I am particularly looking forward to the completion of Motera Cricket Stadium, poised to become the biggest cricket stadium.

Pakistan is also renovating many of its venues and adding new ones. I am very excited to track these developments as well.

Please keep adding stuff here guys.

Pakistan is developing a wonderful stadium in Bahria Town. It's called Rafi Stadium and it looks simply stunning. Once it is completed it will probably be the most majestic stadium in the entire subcontinent and we can all be proud of it.

Afghanistan have a great venue for their home Tests.

Lord's are redeveloping two stands and will increase the overall capacity to 31,000. It's not a lot to SC fans but the planning process is UK is very bureaucratic so better than nothing.

I have fondness of the St Lucia stadium. I visited the island for a vacation and it took my breath away. Truly one of the best islands in the entire world. Just majestic with the Pitons. Please google Jade Mountain and Ladera resorts in St Lucia. Truly some of the best resorts in the entire world.

Yes Dehradun it is. Pics posted above.

They were playing their matches at Noida earlier. BCCI giving them access to other venues too. Very nice gesture.

Sahara stadium, Pune I think is the best cricket stadium in India currently.

Adelaide is very nice after renovations. Used to be one of the most boring grounds.

Krishnagiri Stadium at Wayanad and The Sports Hub Trivandrum both in Kerala are world class stadiums.

In terms of scenic beauty this stadium is right up there. I don't know about the facilities and infrastructure. Taking your word, Maybe we can see some IPL games there some day.

Greenfield Internationale Stadium in Trivandrum as mentioned above is quite mesmerizing too.

It has already hosted two international matches.

Great to see new additions to India;s cricket schedule. Ours is a huge a country we need to cricket to all corners of the country instead of sticking with the traditional venues only

Like i mentioned above, some of these newer tier-2 city stadiums are way better.
