[PICTURES/VIDEOS] Let's give credit to Mohsin Naqvi for transforming our cricket stadiums

But this apparently is a state of the arts stadium because it has a roof :ROFLMAO:

The new stadium will have a roof as well, but I don’t understand why people are so concerned about the Kebab Stadium when no international matches will be held there due to security reasons.

I'm excited about the new stadium being built in Islamabad. I just saw a video of Naqvi saying it will be completed within a year, along with further upgrades to the Lahore and Karachi stadiums.

Why do you guys worry about what we think. You can boot Polish to your hearts content. You have a World class stadium without a roof🤣🤣🤣

Islamabad Stadium i dont think is possible.

It doesnt come under punjab, it comes under federal, so CDA would never give land for it as CDA wants to sell such lands at premium price to plaza and mall owners.

Even if the stadium gets built, CDA is known for not being able to take care of its assets. Unless PCB makes their own stadium in Islamabad, under CDA its going to be a long term disastor.

I don't want to get political but I have to state the blatantly obvious. The PML-N Government has spent a lot of money on Infrastructure projects in the past (Motorways etc) and during the election campaign continued to promise XYZ (Airports at weird locations etc) but there is no transparency or Accountability as to how contracts are awarded and where the money goes.

The economy of Pakistan is in doldrums and Cricket is the only thing which can generate money so not surprised at construction which is few years too late because the Tournament was awarded to Pakistan years ago and there should not have been a massive rush to complete these stadia within weeks.

PCB should be privatized and all its accounts and activities should be transparent and public including all Accounts related to PSL.

Not sure what's going on with it but I've seen various clips of mohsin naqvi saying about building one in Islamabad within a a year

Naqvi will make statements, but Islamabad is complicated.

Most expensive land in Pakistan is in Islamabad, so CDA, the owner of most of the land, wants to ration the land to highest bidder. The highest bidder are always the people that build shopping plazas. THis is why PCB will eventually settle for Rawalpindi, or ask DHA to build a Stadium and consider it a part of Islamabad or might go to Malik Riaz for a stadium.

Why should PCB be privitizied? PCB is the only govt institute that makes money. If PCB was privitized than SIndh will lose the most as PCB than will keep commericial interest ahead.

No to a large extent because allocating money according to Commercial revenue generation capability is the name of the game but we will get transparency and public Accountability. Sindh has Karachi so I don't believe that they will lose out much compared to smaller districts like lets say Faisalabad.

Durham county generates far less than lets say Surrey but has Cricket died in Durham?

View from Pakistan versus view from Outside Pakistan
No. It's a renovation without a roof. And Naqvi the murderous thugs triggers me like epileptic gets triggered by flashing lights. If we can't point out a basic fact about this corrupt and murderous thug then we have betrayed the memory of the murdered. I am not giving an inch on this thug and will not give him any credit.

BTW
Even these boot polishers don't pretend that he hasn't murdered these people. Let that sink in
You have nothing to be ashamed of.

There are views from inside Pakistan and of those outside Pakistan. 2 days ago on Sawera Pasha show there were plenty of (Indians) mocking this hysteria about the stadium and their answer was:
  1. You can actually see the faces of the batters under the Helmet
  2. Compare to rest of Pakistan, this stadium is a miracle
You can listen to it on YouTube.

The country is so far gone and messed up that despite knowing about this tournament for years nothing was done and nobody knows about the contract assignment, money allocation etc

But people are celebrating a person who should be concentrating on deteriorating security conditions and crackdown on civil liberties etc because "people" can see faces underneath a Helmet...

As previously said that we shouldn't talk politics in this thread but unfortunately does come into this.

@emranabbas another one of those agenda posters we talked about.

Now watch him unveil himself with recurring patterns.

Bro i have been following these, but i still doubt CDA will do anything.

They did this in the past and i think it was the supreme court that stopped them from making a stadium in Shakaparian.

I hope i am wrong though

Trust me it's been decided. This will be a 50k+ stadium and built to SENA standards.
