Actually, he was shocked I recognized him, he was wearing a mask, I went up to him and tapped his arm congratulating him, he seemed nervous but kind, so I couldn't get a conversation going, except for the the congrats and well played. He is a very small kid, I am about 5-10, he was at least 6 inches shorter than me, amazing how he dominates big tall fast bowlers when he is on song, such a little guy. But yeah my new Year is off with a BANGGG!!!!

How many Indian cricketers from the past or present have you met till date?

This is my first meeting of an Indian player face to face and conversing. I have met Shoaib Akhtar at a night club back in 1999 when Pak was here, we spoke a bit, seemed a real nice guy, met a lot of aussie boys like Ponting, Mcgrath, Gilly, Lee etc all of them were very nice.

Met Babar, Shan and Sarfaraz a couple of years back at a shopping mall during late evening. And this was a night before their test match in Dubai. All in chappals, and were figuring out how to use a self-service payment machine I guess. Asked them for a photograph, and Sarfaraz saab throws in an aunty attitude saying 'aayein lein'. Lol. Honestly speaking, I felt for them more than they probably thought they were feeling for me.

The same happened with Shakib too, also at a shopping mall last year. He didn't say anything, but the manner in which he took a photo would appear shady to any non-cricket neutral walking by. Rude and looking North, behaving like a CID. Lol.

Met Graeme Swann on first day of 2018 India vs Australia Boxing day test.. took a selfie with him and asked him who is he supporting.. he replied "Damn the Aussies.. they gotta loose".. cheeky man.

Have met Wasim Akram in Brighton beach in Melbourne once in 2017.. quiet a random encounter I some times go there for a run(live 40 km away from there). Had a small chat in Punjabi and asked him about some fitness related stuff. He was very nice.

Met Hasan Ali in Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai. was there for work travel.. before the first match. He was in a restaurant ordering the a plate of Biriyani. Just took a photo and wished him good luck.

Frequently visit Frankston and go to the restaurant owned by John Hastings.
Though he is not available most of the time.. he once was at the bar and served me the drink i ordered..lolz.

In India.. i have met Harbhajan Singh.. he was shooting something near the village he was born in Hoshiarpur. He is very nice and humble..no air of being a superstar. Spoke and cracked a few jokes in Punjabi again.

I went to Pakistan during 2003-2004 India tour with my Dad.. i was not so much interested in cricket back then tbh.. I just went for food..but i got pics on an old camera with Sachin, Dravid, Inzamam, Sami as my dad was a big fan and we frequently tried to have lunches in the same hotels the players were staying. Unfortunately the camera was stolen when we were back in India..

Met Imran Tahir in London last year before the Pak/SA world cup match. His wife approached me from behind asking me for directions. I tell her that I'm not from London but I check out her map anyways. All of a sudden I her kid come up to her and Imran Tahir just behind lol. Got a picture with him but unfortunately I couldn't help them find their way haha.

Also have met Sarfraz Ahmed on a few occasions as he is a relative of mine.
