Both teams are looking ruthless. Everyone have been quarrelling on India "VS" Pakistan current T20I Bowling and batting.

Now let's be true and select Current India "+" Pakistan T20i team.

Chahal misses due to Shadab's batting, and Hassan misses due to Bumrah's death bowling

Can't make Kohli a captain due to his ******* decisions and can't have Dhoni for his selfish play off late.

I would have Babar in place of Rahul... Sure Rahul will blast away once in 10 innings but Babar is very consistent. There is a reason why he is top of the rankings.

Rahul is also in top 10 and is consistent enough to average 55 striking at 150+.

That's why Kohli is there and Sarfraz to keep taking singles. You can't play 3 accumulators in top 5.

I would go with this.

3 genuine pace bowler + 1 genuine spinner + 1 pace allrounder + 1 spin allrounder.
All areas of bowling covered, especially if one of the bowlers has a poor game.

Top 4 is very strong, with 6 and 7 able to smack the ball too. Dhoni adds some protection if the top 4 fall early. If the top 4 performs, send Pandya and Shadab ahead of them to smack the ball around. Like India did today.

Shakib and Mushfiqur in place of Dhoni and Shadab.

Cant think of anyone from SL.

Shakib, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera and Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi from Afghanistan. Afghanistan is also a cricketing nation now so have to consider them too. It's arguable, but they will probably be considered.

Which consistency are you talking about?

Babar has 5 fifties in 20 innings.

Rahul has 6 50+ including 2 100s in 17 innings.

If Rahul is blasting away once in 10 innings, Babar hasn't even done it yet ever.

replace Rahul with in form S. Malik and kohli with Talented H. sohail.
Also replace Pandya with Faheem, as he is much better AR. these changes would make team even better

See no point playing an allrounder like Pandya or Fahim, both aren't great, and batting is so strong, their batting isn't needed. Fahim offers with the ball, but I think Shadab offers more, and playing him at 7 allows Chahal in the team which makes it stronger.

The likes of Asif Ali and Shaheen haven't played enough to judge.

I would pick Kuldeep over Shadab and I will also include Dhawan in place of Raina.
 
Until India play Pakistan in T20 bilateral they cannot be compared to Pakistan who have beaten NZ,Eng and OZ away. We would most probably thump India away.

These comparisons don't stand. Compare Pakistan with Australia.

Love Babar but Lokesh Rahul is an absolute beast especially in T20s
Sarfraz and Kohli take up Babars role in the team anyways, so no need for him
 
Or potentially
Leave Sarfraz out for Babar at 4
Lokesh Rahul can keep and Kohli can captain

We have beaten Eng SA and Aus away. Btw you only beat Eng in a solitary T20 not a series.

How many times have Pakistan thumped India in T20s?
 
Only 2-3 of our players make into a combined Pakistan-India XI.

I would replace Raina with HAsan Ali, and Sarfaraz with Dhoni.

You dont need more than 7 good batsmen in ta T20 side.

The top 4 of Fakhar, Rohit, KL and Virat is explosive and fairly dependable. If the top 4 fail, you have Dhoni who can stable the ship. If the top 4 succeed, you have PAndya and Shadab to smack the ball around.

Despite Dhoni’s decline, he is surely a better keeper and a batsman than Shadab.

With Amir, Hasan and Bumrah, you have 3 high quality pace bowlers. With Kuldeep you have an excellent spinner. So 16 overs covered. Pandya and Shadab can make up the remaining 4 overs, and plus cover of one of the other bowlers have an off day.
