Last time a nz journalist made a cheap remark on shiela dikshit..our media made it such an issue that guy was suspended, made to apologize and even the govt said sorry. As some posters have alluded to in this thread, the company can end up actually come out having it's reputation badly damaged (as it would rightly deserve!) IF things are handled properly.

The lawyers of the concerned parties (preferably the pcb- if they can actually be bothered to do something) should handle this exclusively and professionally. Players and fans alike should not be provoked into angry reactions- this is no doubt exactly what they are hoping for!

In fact concerned players should just have a standard response ready (we have a PR guy with the squad right?) something along the lines of "Lawyers are looking into the matter".

In a way I'm glad this has been the case, navroks. I think the ad is as pathetic as it gets, and is wrong on so many levels. Rather than a media onslaught on the company (which will probably only get their non-entity of a company free publicity) I rather they are hit where it hurts- their pockets!

The incident you mentioned also sounds pathetic, I'm impressed by the response from India though! However, as I mentioned earlier, in this case I think such an approach should be avoided as it will only succeed in attracting more attention to this unknown company, which will only help them achieve their desired results.

Looks like I'm in a minority here but I think it's pretty funny. It's obviously pretty edgy / shock value but it is what it is.

If Pakistanis stopped getting offended about this type of stuff, stopped caring about what everyone thinks about them and focused on the real societal issues the country would be a much better place.
