It's not about personnel. However good the players are, the guys in charge are dinosaurs who don't understand T20. Why does Punter look surprised? If you're not going to try and score runs even when RRR is over 10, of course this will happen.

I am saying this because it is almost similar story for MI since they won ipl back in 2013..

It was almost similar situation in previous season also..

I have to say i have to say i have not seen a hard working bowler like shardul Thakur. Few seasons back he was a laughing stuff for fans.

I saw him first time, in Ranji trophy 3 years back. He looked over-weight, used to grunt heavily with every ball. He would ran like a super-fast bowler and then will spray it around 120-130 ks. some of his deliveries use to be so wide, that you would wonder that how this guy is even playing cricket!, forget about playing Ranji and that too for Mumbai!

But Mumbai always had faith with him, and that is what motivated shardul. It paid dividents! shardul worked on his body and on his bowling. He became leaner and quicker. Since 2013-14 Ranji season, he is totally a changed bowler.

In the recently concluded Ranji season, he got even better, both skill wise and attitude wise. Terrfic improvements! and the results are there to see!

I still Feel he can lose some more weight and can be more quicker. Still a work in progress as of now.
