Salam guys,

So im looking for a new bat and ive been really hooked on the ca 15000 plus, but after reading a few reviews they say that it wont last more than a season and paying that much amount of money i would wont something that will last me a couple of season.

So is this true?

thx

Salaam Momin Bhai.

I have personally seen 3 CA Bats break in the nets last year. And the breakage is always sideways so one cannot repair those either.

I used to use a lot of CA bats up untill 2 years ago. 2 years back CA went over the top - trying to make all bats super big and defining bats as G1++++++, G1++++++++++++, G1++++++++ Bringing in models like CA 15000 PLUS, CA 12000 PLUS, CA TRD.

The problem is that there cannot be possibly having clefts of willow that light. So they must be overdrying which is causing this breakage.

The lower grades are still alright- a couple of CA 5000 bats from last year have been going ok.

Everyone's experience might be a bit different.

Go with MB Malik - SHER or BUBBER SHER??

im currently using the bubber sher for the last 2 yrs. so do you have a substitute? is the breakage issue same with boom boom and ihsan?

Thanks!

Best bat = Get a good AS bat and then fit a new handle. lol

Is SS an option?

AFAIK Boom Boom and Ihsan dont have this issue.

Hey Momin :) in my own experience in general English/Aus bats like Gray Nic, GM and Kook last longer than most if not all Asian bat makers such as CA or SS. In regards to the CA plus 15000 i am not to sure buddy sorry

Yeh, qasim but thing is that Aussie bats are way outta my budget as a quality stick would cost you $400 +

Yeh bro so which AS bat do you propose btw didn't their bat maker die and their quality has dropped significantly? Also have you tried out the boom boom or ihsan as they also might be liable options.

No bro don't think SS is an option as I will be getting my things from PAK

Thx

momin bro ive used most of the top bats from round the glove.....
from julian millichamp's screaming cat, laver and wood from nz, milliachamp and hall from the uk, salix, ss, boom, gray nicz, gm, spartan mc 329 from aus but made in india.....
the very best bats in my opinion are millichamp and hall bats.... even i dont like their profiles much apart from master, but their willow quality, handle quality, finishing, lifespan and above all, their performance is just just better than anyother bats ive seen..... i know they're a bit expensive, but they're worth it, but u said u'd be getting ur bat from pakistan, so making it quite simple.... ca make best bats out of pakistan in terms of willow quality and ping.... but let's not forget, they really do over dry their willows, thus causing shorter lifespan, so in short, if u want a bat from pakistan with excellent performance and above avg. life span and very fine willow and handle quality, go with sids cricket.... believe me they in deed make better bats than AS, AM and even mids.... other day i saw around 170 mids bats, all were their top of the range one, i liked all of em, but none was above my sids bat..... and a custom made sids bat with grade A willow should cost you around $200....that's quite reasonable as well......

Momin Bhai,

I am lucky to own almost all top of the range bats of world's renowned bat manufacturers. Last 2 months i purchased 2 CA Plus 15k. 3 CA Plus 15K ltd edition and 1 TRD ltd edtion bats. All these bats are fantastic bats and are performing really well, TRD is really going great guns. At present they all looks very solid, i can't guess how many season would they last for me.

Considering the hefty amount i have paid for all English/NZ/Aus bat manufacturers, i would safely say that CA bats are good value for money.

Regarding Ihsan bats, i have Inferno 950 and Lynx 1. These are strong bats because they are pressed very hard but performance wise not very good. AS bats, some of them are very good not all, you need to be lucky to find a good piece for you, also handle quality is very poor. I have used Malik ltd edition and it is good, no idea about SIDS AND MIDS.

Shahbaz bhai is rating highly about SIDS bats so i think you should try one from SIDS otherwise my suggestion is CA 15K or TRD ltd edition.

shoab68 bro im not shahbaz, im sarmad.....
i own 2 ca 15000 bats.... both perform great.... but the one that i use more has already broken without any severe impact..... even sids bat performs an inch better than my ca 15k bats...... even sids bats are for less $$$ than ca ......

Sarmad Bhai, sorry for mentioning you as Shahbaz. No offense, i have not used SIDS. If you are recommending then i will try one. I agree with you that Sids will cost less compared to CA and if performance also better than CA then definitely i will get one SIDS for me, can you suggest how to buy a custom from SIDS.

1. The prices mentioned are with shipping cost included, and they ship worldwide via DHL.
2. They can bargain a bit as well.
3. They can modify the bat specs as per your needs within the same price, even they can make you a fully custom bat.

ok, im gonna rate out of 10
ping: ca 15000 7.5/10 sids black mamba 8/10
willow quality: ca 15000 8/10 sids mamba 8/10
lifespan: ca 15000 6/10 sids mamba 8/10
pickup: ca 15000 9/10 sids mamba 8.5/10

i have sids black mamba.... i made a thread earlier to review it, can easily be found in this forum..... u should look for it.

i used ca15000 for just one season, even a bit less than that, i got it last year, almost when the season was about to end, so had about 4,5 games and about 10,12 net session with it....and now this season had 10,12 games and around 30,35 net sessions and it was over.... it still can be used, im using it in nets, hitting humungous sixes but still has a feel like its loosing its ping.....
have used sids bat for about 3,4 games and around 20 net sessions and is kinda brand brand new at the moment..... doesn't look that prone to breakage as compared to the 2 ca 15000 bats....

Wow and btw Ali gave me a final price for $300 including gloves bat and pads

$300 gloves bat and pads a great deal Momin ! What bat are you getting ? Great to see Pakpassion links working :)

Very Nice Momin heard the SIDS Black Mamba a beast of a bat :) Good luck bhai hope you do well with it

CA, AS, MB Malik bats aren't for persons who want bats to last long. Have had bad experience with those brands, and i've tried 3+ bats in all those brands.

Ihsan is the strongest in Pakistan and really good bats for power hitters. Boom Boom also nice but willow seems rather dry but edges and toe doesn't break as easy as the other mentioned brands. My Club uses 2 Boom Boom 2 star bats, my gosh, they are really good on stroke and powerplay. Should definitely apply a coat of oil on them first though. Not sure why they used such dry willow (those were bought 2 years ago, not sure if they're different now)
