Shows that he has good contol on line and lenght. he is not express pace but i like that he can keep it tight. Seriously these are club guys... the last game had more bigger names. what is tanvir doing.

Gul has to turn up for the next game. Don't remember the last time he ran through a side.
 
finally rahat got some bounce..... a wicket or else 6 an over would have kept on happening.
 
I was hoping that our bowlers are tested bit longer...10 overs for each bowler are not enough but it will give some idea for management to select... Anyways,good chance for our batsmen to spend some time in the middle...

The only reason I can think of continuing to let Tanvir bowl is that they don't wanna exert Ehsan Adil too much.

Probably want Ehsan to start the next game.

So Tanvir keeps bowling.
 
The more Rahat Ali plays in these condtions the better he will get. There is a reason he is averaging 20 in FC
 
Rehman 8 overs 9 runs and 1 wkt :O should he come in place of Ajmal??

Rahat's domestic track record deserves at least 3 straight games otherwise it'll be unfair because knowing our selectors I don't think they will pick him for next two-three years..

true but IMO Rehman will be more affective on these pitches than Ajmal..Rehman loves bowling on pitches that provide a bit of bounce and Ajmal struggles..

you can bet he is not going to play for the next 2 years at least.
 
Pak shud have brought a leg spinner in this tour, SA doesnt hav a good record against leggie big stupid decision on selectors.
 
Tanvir is an avErage bwler, i would play irfan, gul, juni, rehman. Ajmal is a big pussycat bowler, he doesnt bowl over da wk but bowls around, i dnt get it it is such a defensive move from a world class bowler, and he shodnt bowl so many doosra. No wonder saqlain was such a class, because he used to challenge batsmen by bowling from his end.

Pakistani fans aren't always right..look at yourself for example I mean selectors should be more careful in quick judgment and don't select or drop someone because of the pressure of people..Rahat deserves a fair run or else our domestic cricket has no meaning..
 
Irfan seems to be varying his length well, beating the bat regularly.

He just got his 3rd wicket, surely he must play in the 2nd test

he's a right handed Sohail Tanvir..if pitch isn't green ish and sky is clear then you can bet all your money that he is going to get spanked all over the place.. ..that said he does have the ability to bowl well with the old bowl, reverse swing etc but not affective enough to get him wickets I guess..

Playing 13 players doesn't mean you have 13 players on the field at same time. They are just having substitutes.
 
Farhat will teach Pakistani batsmen on how to bat in such conditions..
 
Mohammad Irfan bowled 12 overs, most of all the pacers so he is definately match fit.
 
yep i see farhat scoring heaps of run getting selected and then steyn and philander eating him for break fast and tea.
 
Good performance with the ball !! Why not try rehman for ajmal? Because ajmal will only bowl around the wicket and continue bowling his negative line only to avoid phainti
 
enjoy till it last haters,wickets and runs against these club level teams count for nothing.surely,ajmal and Rahat should play.
 
Hm... Ehsan Adil should have gotten another over instead of :ajmal coming on and bowling one over.

This spell of Ehsan Adil only lasted 1 over :facepalm:
