His only important contribution, the rest has been glorious failure. I know he has home and away tons v Pakistan but they were his only innings against Pakistan of any quality.

I hope Asif still gets his 5fer. Though Gul is bowling well. Hope these two don't make any more problems.

Mashallah Gul Has really beena very responsible bowler in this series. He deserves every bit of praise he may get.

Was actually hoping Gul would not get Monty. I really wanted to see Asif get a fifer as he really deserved it. Meh, will take it either way. Asif got a fifer in my books.

Still quite a bit of cricket to go tonight, hopefully Harmison gets something out of the pitch, and more importanly we need to see a transformed Hoggard from the joker of the first 3 tests. I love him and he has been quality against everyone else, but does he ever have good figures v Pakistan? Today would be a good time to start getting some!
 
Well, that's the end for England. Eyebrows were raised by some when Inzamam chose to bowl this morning, but his decision has been utterly vindicated. His bowlers have responded with a fiery, incisive spell of bowling – led, it must be said, by Mohammad Asif to finally give Umar Gul the support he has so craved all series. We’ll be back shortly for Pakistan’s reply.
 
What are the odds of erasing 70% of the deficit today? Around 125 runs?

Gul has 17 wicket at 32 a peice , followed closely by Harmi and Monty at 16. Yousaf keeping up with the tradition of scoring over 500 runs per series for last 3 series of 3 test or more. He now has 503 from three tests. A majestic double and an explosive 192 . Some good scores by English batsmen too but our bowling was just out of place till now. Inshallah this match will be ours.:)

It won't be easy for the openers. I think the conditions are favoring the bowlers. Lets see how they do.

great bowling by Pak, top performance

Gul and Asif have been teriffic, not to mention nazir and dani.

i wonder what the gul haters who said he is ordinary have to say about his performance in this series
