Live-streaming cricket matches in 2007? LMAO. Thanks for proving my point, junior

He is not worth our time. That is why you don't see me responding to his rather innocuous cricketing perspectives. It is almost like talking to a 5 year old trying to learn cricket.
I think you're referring to the bipolar @mominsaigol, he is speechless at what's happened today.
You don't respond to me because I own you. Their is no need to have such an ego.

Secondly no one on PP can keep my mouth shut. Literally no one. But I can shut people up

Funniest part is the same all rounders that many of us were against Gambhir for picking, ended up saving the day :ROFLMAO:

I am not sure who were against them. But these all rounders were necessary evils after lower order debacle in the first from commanding positions.
I'm sure I've seen a few grumblings on PP. I didnt think they were smart picks personally and that you could probably drop 2 of them ( sundar and Thakur) for a bowler and batsman.

But fair play Washington smashed it

YouTube didn't start implementing live streaming until 2011.

Before that in 2007 no social media site or any app implemented live streams. Infact apps themsleves weren't a thing, smartphones came out in 2007 and apps were in infancy at the time with extremely basic apps.

They could hardly support basic features let alone live streaming.

Infact 2007 was the year YouTube implemented monetisation to pay creators but at that time even the most viewed video at that time in 2007 generated a total of 3 dollars via ads.

Nike video got 1M but that was due to external sponsor not yt ads money.

Their wasnt a single website including FB and MySpace that could generate livestreaming in 2007.

You are clearly having a bad meltdown if you have to bring Pakistan's test record from 3 decades back in an Eng-Ind test match thread. Lets be honest, after doing the bhangra when India were 0/2, you are humiliated now and saying these things and posting silly smileys to mask those tears which we can see from our screens. If I were you, I will stop to save further embarrassment. Rest I leave it to your judgement.

well I responded to @Devadwal who said Pak never won anything worth mentioning in Eng.. and used words like aukat se bahar 😂😂

😂😂 Maybe in Pakistan you didn't have TV service lol 😂😂😂 :kp
Nice try. But we know what you said. Either you are too dumb to know the difference between live-streaming something and watching it on TV, or you have been caught with your pants down. So tell me, which one is it? :kp

Don't Embarrassed yourself again and again 🤡🤡 :kp

What did I tell you guys about Bum Dawson, the most useless spinner to ever play for England, he can go back to his sh!!y little county and go back to whinging down there.

Seems he is in the team for his bowling + batting. Why is Jack Leach not being preferred? He is the second highest wicket-taker in the County Championship

Both Jack Leach & Tom Hartley are much better options then him, Bum Dawson has been having an okay week in the counties & Stokes felt sorry for all the years no one gave him a chance (for good reason clearly), we picked 11 spinners ahead of Dawson in the past, he is basically the equivalent of Imad Wasim but a Temu version, we don’t need his darts at the Test level, in-fact a couple of years ago, Dawson didn’t even want to focus on red ball cricket 🤡 His stats look decent due to playing on low slow pitches which favour drift, there is no guile to his bowling and he can’t put revs on the ball either, a good defensive pick in traditional damp English conditions, otherwise an extremely useless bowler, and we should never be deceived by his so called batting capabilities.

India are in good shape going into final test. Hopefully they can with it. That will be a fair result for the way they played in this series. Pant will be replaced by Jurel, so they should strengthen the batting, so may be they will bring back Karun Nair. Also better if we play the three best seamers if possible - Bumrah, Siraj, Akashdeep.
Didn't Siraj played every match this test matches.. he needs rest..

I was looking up his bowling stats for the season and apparently he averages 40 with the ball. Hardly someone you'd want to pick as the sole spinner. But I dunno if it was just Stokes. I had heard others like Cook putting him over too as an all-round option and replacement for Bashir, even before he got injured

Why are you dodging my question? Need your time-machine to go back in time to 2007 and confirm? :kp

While you're there maybe grab an English language learning book and learn to spell too :kp
Search on google " Live streaming of the india vs England series". Then see the results again and again untill you understand :kp

The two XI's for The Oval will be fascinating . A lot of very tired bodies .

India should Play fresh and well rested bowler for this test . :kp

Mate, maybe he was that Swedish lad who had setup the 40 gig internet back in 2007 while the rest of us were toiling away with slow speeds. 😂😂😂

England's philosophy simple for bazball cricket. Batting depth is very critical for their style of game. They just love to bulldoze opposition into submission by scoring quickly.

Looks like Sri Lanka toured England recently and England barely won against them. Asitha Fernando blew away England the entire series. There were no flat pancakes nonsense in that series.

Lot of rumoured ball tampering in those series. British press thought something shady was going on.
That was just sour grapes by the English press and fans. Waqar was close to unplayable in 1992. He got clueless Graeme Hick 'Waqared' at least half a dozen times in that 5-match series, which Pakistan won 2-1. The English team and press had little to no knowledge of reverse swing at the time. Once Gough and others got the hang of it (although not as well as the two masters, the two W's), then it suddenly became an art!

It’s been a weird tour for Bharat.

1st test - Should have won but lost
2nd test - Dominant win
3rd test - Should have win but lost
4th test - Should have lost but drew
That's a very fair reflection of what has so far transpired in the series

India should not have lost in Birmingham. 192 was very gettable. However, these small totals can be even more challenging at times. There is a temptation to overattack from the outset, thinking it is a small target. Jaiswal played a rash shot. India was still in the game (albeit a small chance at that stage) when Jadeja was batting with Bumrah (he played a needless aerial shot and undid all the good work of Jadeja).

2-2 will be a fair result. However, if India goes on to lose the series 1-3 at The Oval, that loss in Birmingham will come back to haunt them

Takes a lot of mental strength to pull off a draw by batting out 5 sessions regardless of what kind of pitch it is.
Wonderful performance by Indian batters.
Reiterates my point, make some lively pitches England.

Cook & all these other blokes don’t get me wrong were good leaders but they were bought up on the old English school of thought, they have dated views and the county system is not what is use to be, an average of 40 is too kind for Dawson honestly and speaks volumes of how low the standards of techniques have fallen against spin in general. Stokes should ignore all that noise because no one has ever had as much impact during a match than him for England this century, he should trust his instincts.

Leach probably wondering why he's been ignored for well over a year now.

This is the stuff test matches are made of. I think this series has been the best in recent times. Brilliant batting performance by the Indian side

Waqar even got a successive 7 fer and 6 fer in natwest tri series 2001, bowling at 83-84mph at max, against first line England and Australia.

Where is my friend @Bhaag Viru Bhaag ? Suddenly gone very quiet. Normally he is very active till late but perhaps wanted to call it an early night tonight being a sunday. Nevertheless, I want to take this opportunity to congratulate him for brilliant Indian fight back. Being a true Indian cricket fan he must be so proud.

They see something in Bashir for the future. But I'm not sure if his numbers in county or for England justify his selection right now. Even when he picks up wickets he goes for alot of runs and struggles to control the scoring rate.

Didn't expect this from the Indians, Gill is refusing to let me give up on him, well played. Now 80 odd runs away from Bradman's all time series record, he should get it if he bats sensibly next test match.

Well played by Wash & Jadeja...

India has a nucleus of good young bats that needs to be carefully nurtured, hopefully Reddy will also cemet his place in the test side..

Some were telling Dawson is way better than Bashir. But seems like he is too much into limite over games. His bowling approach suggests clearly. Bashir is slightly better than him.

Going by his :aag posts, He probably went to ask his parents what his name was before Devadwal for First Name and never completed the first page of the form. :ROFLMAO:
OP is time-traveler from the fourth dimension, and should not be taken lightly. He claims to have live-streamed the 2007 India-England series. Back when most people in our part of the world were still using dial-up internet :kp

It's the lesser of two evils argument. I think based on recent county numbers Leach should make the team over both. Just goes to show though what an asset Moeen Ali was for England, especially in English conditions.
