Suryakumar Yadav-led India aims to secure the five-match T20I series against England today on Tuesday, January 28, at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Despite England's strong performance in the second match, Tilak Varma's outstanding effort ensured India’s victory by two wickets.

England have struggled against Varun Chakravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, and Axar Patel, unable to score more than 180. India's disciplined bowling in the first two T20Is has played a crucial role in their 2-0 lead in the series.

Teams:
England Playing XI:
Ben Duckett, Philip Salt (wk), Jos Buttler (c), Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Jamie Smith, Jamie Overton, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood.

This is High scoring ground.

Third lose is awaiting for The england against The World champion team .

:kp

England should've won the 2nd game but Archer messed it up.

Anyway, hopefully they will get the job done today.

Excuse, excuse lol

This india team is not even full strength team while england os playing with Full strength in This series .

BTW you can select the World eleven team still this indian team can beat them easily at anywhere in the World.

:kp

Finishing England off in this match and, consequently, the series today would be nice.

They should call up a couple of youngsters and give them caps for the last 2 matches.

Please no Dube . Riyan Parag is Missed the golden apportunity to cement his place in T20 team due to injury .

He is back from injury. Should play in the 4th and 5th matches instead of Ranji imo.

India should have batted first in this game just to test themselves if they can win defending.

Jurel is a good test match prospect as he proved. He has never once displayed his T20 ability. So persisting with him over DUbe, Ramandeep is rather bizzarre.

England (Unchanged Playing XI) - Phil Salt, Ben Duckett, Jos Buttler (C), Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Jamie Smith (WK), Jamie Overton, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood.

India (Playing XI) - Sanju Samson (WK), Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Dhruv Jurel, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Shami (in for Arshdeep Singh), Varun Chakravarthy.

Shami back in squad

I don't think 4 spinner is a good idea here. There is zero crack or anything. You can just hit through the line against all the spinners

All said and done ENgland will come better prepared going into CT than other teams. They won't even play India in the first round.

England is decimating TEAM IPL.

Great to see.

:qdkcheeky

ENG - 82/1 (8.3 overs).
The other 3 matches from now on won't be one sided.

India won the first match cause England were getting use to conditons and won the 2nd game due to a freak innings by one Indian batter, otherwise match was close.

India may win this, and may win 5-0 but people are exaggerating when they claim India is > England.

Both teams are evenly matched in t20 and England is > India in odi atm.

This is how it should be played on these pitches. Not the 130 or 150 scores they have been putting up on the board.

At least you do not have to pray for an Indian loss this early in the match. :cobra

Even if India win 5-0, this is just a bilateral T20 series. Teams generally use these series to try out combinations/players.

I am not sure if England is even playing their full side here. For example, Sam Curran is missing. Also, what is Brook doing in a T20 team? It seems like England is experimenting.

England is one of the most dangerous teams in ct.

Genuinely, as an aussie and Pakistani fan I'm.more scared of England then I am of India in this tournament.

I back Nz to get rid of India and this time I back pakistan to beat them in dubai.

Ngl, I'm starting to like sanju as a cricketer. He doesn't pick fights, is a good keeper and batter and genuinely seems like a good guy. I wish him well in international.

Also collapse for England incoming. Duckett threw it away

Indian players are generally likeable minus guys like Kohli.

It is mostly the Indian fans who are really obnoxious. Possibly the most obnoxious cricket fans in the world. :dav

England are scared. They are hesitant to launch because they know one more wicket and it could be series over for them

Most of these guys are used to these pitches. Of all the people New zealand players have the best practice in IPL as most of them play for Dhoni team. Dhoni's home ground is spinners delight. THey get to practice on best spin assisting ground.

Naw, Siraj is a piece of @^@^#, And their players behaviour in BGT became a meme.

Even though kohli and siraj jarrassed konstas, the rest of the team supported kohli for harassing a kid even when kohli was fined.

To top it off, their behaviour, of celebrating a win a rained off drawn test as of they won a world cup was comical.

After Dhoni left, the side went downhill in terms of attitude.

However India's young bloods like sanju, Jaiswal, gill, All seem to be shariff and India's body language and attitude under bumrah is professional while under rohit and kohli it reeks of attitude and drama.

Anyway I'm very excited for Ashes later this year. Ashes is a true gentleman's game and will be a fun series to watch.

Brook was in their World T20 XI

So india missing jaiswal, bumrah , rinku , nitish , Kuldeep does not matter but eng missing sam Curran, who is left out after poor form matters a lot.🤣
