England [305/8] defeat New Zealand [186] by 119 runs to reach Semi-finals of World Cup 2019

Right so what do we need NZ to be bowled out for so that we have a realistic chance?
 
Yaar, best hope for England to win this by 150+ runs and then hope Pak bats first against Bang, scores 400+ and gets Ban out for 50
 
At what rr will pak have to chase Bangladesh's score?

Lets say Bangladesh make 300?
 
Two awful run outs for NZ. We're almost out of the WC now and we only have ourselves to blame. The defeat by West Indies will put is out.
 
If New Zealand gets out to say, 150.. Pakistan will need to defeat Bangladesh by 60 runs.. fair game?

India performed the best against storm of eng batting and good bowling

Its your team thats going home for intentionally losing to WI for quick bucks or what not

So the same WC scenarios have played out.

1). Australia dominate.

2). NZ start off hot and get gradually worse.

3). India beat Pakistan.

4). Pakistan lose to the West Indies.

5). SA, coming off bilateral wins, choke when it matters most.

Whatever the surface was, their pacers were outbowled by Shaheen and co. But Santner outbowled Shadab + Imad (combined together) on a turning wicket without any reward. Pakistan batsmen don't play spin well at all, whilst NZ fell against our pacers.

Even NZ picked Ish Sodhi, I don't think that would have helped their cause because he's not exactly as good as the Indian and Afghan spinners.

Your argument doesn't doesn't hold water, even in the slightest.

Middle order is patheric but now that pant has been included its better somewhat.
As a team they are still million times better than pakistani team.

Want to see their NRR after their loss.

Their NRR dipped 0.5 after their 80 runs loss against Australia.
 
This has been Pathetic by Newzealand. They dont deserve to be in semis. Last 3 matches lost and now they will enter the semis. Pathetic.

Our middle order is pathetic. But we have 2 best batsmen in world right now who carry us. Bowling is also good but sometimes it's on and off.

Overall my expectations from our team is to win world cup and if we don't then yes it will be a poor display.

You can take my post as however you want but I speak truth without any sugar coating.
 
Mazher is the best cricket stats man. He said it well before the game, that the only way for Pak to qualify is if NZ wins. Relying on NRR is pointless. It's almost impossible to qualify on NRR

No, if Nzl get beaten by 150 runs, Pak will have to win by 280 runs to pass Nzl. And if Bdesh bat first, then there's no chance to cover the NRR difference, even if they get out for 10 runs, and Pakistan win in first over, they will fall just short on NRR.
 
Like I said before this is not icc cricket World Cup 2019 this is icc manipulated Cup 2019 the winner was predetermined yet u folks act as if u can't see what's going on for cricket to move forward as a game the icc has to be investigated as they are the most currupt sporting organisation in the world
 
India and Australia will be licking their claws at the prospect of facing NZ in semi-final. Both teams will want NZ in semi-final.

Remember, the BD coach is indicating that the BD/Pak match will be a revenge match for Pak's Asia cup defeat, so BD would be going all out

India and NZ are similar. Without 2 or 3 key players your team is nothing. KW and Ferguson for NZ. Kohli and Sharma for India. Australia and England (in form) are teams to beat.
