What's new

England (387 & 192) defeat India (387 & 170) by 22 runs to take 2-1 lead in the 5-match Test series

and just when i say this he gets a fluke wicket.
this is not good.

india will regret picking nitish if they do.
Nothing wrong here. India are developing a seam A/R and a spin A/R for future. We need batting depth. Our fast bowlers can’t bat to save their life. They can’t even average 10 for that matter.

jamie smith root are the danger men.

carse can bat.

woakes is getting old now so he may not be as good.

Gone are the days when we used to say India can only win in India.
Almost s decade of planning and consistent effort and look where India stands today in test cricket

Thanks to Dhoni

dhoni????? of all people you say dhoni? hell naw

it was kohli.

and i dont even like kohli. but kohli changed the dynamic of indian fast bowling. although in reality i feel he got lucky tbh.

Yes if Smith takes the gloves out and takes the ball 😱
Jamie Smith is the heir to Gilchrist. Qdk could have been if he was a good test cricketer but Jamie Smith is the true heir.

The sooner you accept it the better. I feel like I'm one of the few non trolls left now.

Rahim > Gilly is one of the weakest takes i have ever heard.

Brooks is underrated. He is better then KP in tests on SENA wickets. He will struggle in asia though yes. Those Pakistan wickets even usman Khawaja avg 105 their

Kohli? It was Ganguly who truly backed fast bowlers first. :inti

Dhoni? Dhoni was never interested in Test cricket. He was a great white ball player and captain, but sucked in red ball. That Barbados early draw declaration of his in 2012 still boils my blood.

If anybody has to credited for this Test team transformation, it has to be Kohli.

Nah no way Gilly can't Nangin, Mushy will always be ahead.

Yeah I agree Smith is heir to Gilly, one is left handed the other is right handed, both have totally different stroke play and techniques so the similarties are in abundance..

🤡

Harry brook is the most effortless hard hitter of the ball currently.
Needs a few adjustments to his test match technique

The reckless bazballing of 2023 is back
3 wickets gifted by the eng batsmen.

Another freak knock from Jamie Smith needed

brook has phenomenal hitting ability vs pace and bounce.
ok vs swing and poor vs spin

but with such talent he should not have played rash shots. lmao
that was terrible shot selection.

good bowling by deep
but seriously what was that shot???
scoop vs a bowler bowling 136 to 138? i dont understand
in test cricket so early lmao??
It's English, it's Brooks, PP got Stockholme syndrome from previous Brooks exploits against them, that it was against India was a bonus..

98/4 at lunch.

Few loose shots from England have put India in a good position.

England need 130-140 more at least

Duckett was very graceful when Siraj was misbehaving after the wicket

will bumrah chip in with second innings wickets this time or? ??
He averages 19th in the second innings in tests. Here the issue is that the batsmen throwing their wicket with wild hits are not doing that against Bumrah

Right on a knife's edge. 4 wickets but conceded 98 runs.

WinViz -52 % India , 41% England.
England batting depths can be different at the end . Lest see how its goes after lunch but as i predicted yesterday there will be definitely a result of this test .

:kp

In this game also, he faked an injury on his thumb and left the field and came out to bat in his normal position after a good rest off the field.
I don't know how this is allowed.
It's allowed in the rules since 2017 if the umpires are convinced that the keeper is seriously injured.

Hence, Pant is not faking it.

Stokes needs to hit a century. Its about time he tries to prove his critics wrong.

Eng needs to score some runs and india will collapse. India is not really confident in their batting and it's visible. Eng just need some runs to defend.
