This is why loyalty is important to support your team regardless of performance. But some posters has become wannabe after their team humiliation defeat after defeats. Those are Plastic fans and we also have some posters who only came in the match thread when India performed badly :inti:kp
 
There isn't pressure on batsmen when the score is far away. As it gets closer the pressure will increase again.

It will be highly captivating.
 
England have got to rope in Adil Rashid back in Test cricket. This experiment with Bashir has been a colossal failure. Rashid is far and above the best spinner in England. He would've been able to wrap up India's tail here.
 
Great defense shown by Bumrah this innings. Better than Crawley and Abdullah Shafique type top order batters at least.

He last played a FC game 6 years ago and averages 40 in tests.

Isn't Adil old now? I don't think going back to him makes sense.

Better to get other young spinners. Maybe even Leach.
 
Considering Jadeja is a leftie, maybe it is not a bad idea to give Root (an off-spinner) an over or two.

How come England don't play any SLA or a leggie? :inti

I know all of that. Adil back then was a completely different bowler to now.

As it is, Adil would only need to bowl 10 overs a match in England. He can easily do that, plus is still a much better batter and fielder than Bashir.

Unless there are better spinners in England which I'm pretty sure there are none, Adil can do a great job for 2 years.

190 is not a difficult chase. India just bottled it and some fans will make this some great effort if they win but still a long way off.

The truth is this match was a choke job from India and humiliation to all those who claimed Archer was poor.

Despite being away fro 4 years he won a game from England something Bumrah couldn't do despite playing 2 tests now.

Jadeja batting proves this was a choke job. India should be ashamed of themselves but their racist delusional fans who cant speak a singoe sentence in English in a world filled with ai and chatgpt responses without fudging it up will get cringy at said notion.

They should be. Honestly, I feel Gill should have played a bit more responsibly. He was looking to cream those drives almost to prove he didn't care about all the chirping going on. On the contrary, had he left a few of them, England would've shut up. They'd have been worried that he had the game covered. England aren't as fearless as the aura they try to convey. Jaiswal chose the most stupid option he had. But these are good players, so they'll be given some leeway. Gambhir needs to take some heat. It won't happen though. A lot of the things that India did wrong should fall under his purview. We've actually been good enough to be 3-0 up or at least 2-1.
 
How did India manage to lose so many wickets on this dead pitch?

Fully agree India have competed very well on pretty much every day in this series so far but imo in key moments England were successful. As for this chase, again agree the top order seemed to be confused with their plans, a bit timid , not sure whether to attack or defend . This is the coachs fault, a former opener who has given no plan to his team in which should have been a comfortable chase.

The weather will prob turn soon so 1 of the last 2 could be a draw due to rain. India had a golden chance to win a series in England.
 
Jadeja is boasting his batting AVG knowing he bowling is useless these days. Selfish :kp
