Is there no other pace bowling all rounder in domestic cricket apart from Faheem Ashraf?

Aamir Yamin, Amad Butt, Ahmed Jamal? Why does Faheem Ashraf keep getting unlimited chances?
 
Pakistan are not learning, they need to play positive. Faheem played the worst Ibhave seen him in a Test Match.
 
This tuk tuk mentality after tea has brought about this. Should have continued to play their shots. Would of been close to 300 now with only 1 wkt down
 
Fahim is neither a batsman nor a bowler. How on earth he keeps getting selected. Typical parchi

I have been warning people for ages for a reason but no one listened. Pakistan will always be a pathetic team. We are a clueless cricket nation.

Lower your expectations & stop getting hurt instead of demanding the team to live up to your expectations. They are incapable.

Not in Pakistan but if you consider neutral venues then 2002 against Australia and 2017 against SL (it was a two test series though, whitewash is technically 3 or matches)

I do agree with Mamoon there. Its our expectations. The team wont beat afganistan on a spinning track never mind anything else.

Pack the team with batting, win the toss, get first use… post 245/7. It’s a dismal effort.

With this Pakistan XI possibly a bowler light, what an opportunity for England tonight and tomorrow.

You know that the team is really crap when a player like Salman is playing as your main batsman
 
Pakistan has completely frittered away the goodwill from historic series with Australia and England with their shambolic performances.

The sparse crowd tells you the story.

We need to go back to basics and relearn the fundamentals of red-ball cricket. Aim for 300 in an innings, select batsmen and bowlers with consistent FC performances (not one season wonders or fake PSL superstars or overhyped kids), and pick bowlers who can land six balls in the same place.

Instead PCB's priorities are mindless chestthumping about PSL being better than IPL (which reeks of our own insecurities), setting up Pyjama Junior League, and pursuing fantasy of drop-in pitches.

Ramiz is definition of a parha likha jahil.

Only two good things he's done is the pathway programme and foreign coaches in domestic cricket. Everything else has been a disaster.
 
Yes they all can bat for once ao why the timid approach...300 should have been a cake walk..england will get that in two sessions mark my word.

Decent performance from Pakistan so far with the bat. The bowling has been quite good. Couldbe been better but I hasn't been horrendous as some are suggesting.

However, the pie throwers that Pakistan labels a bowling attack may once again be brutally exposed.
 
In the last 7th Test match (including this) in Asian conditions and Pakistan making a dogs dinner out of putting runs on the board

2nd Test vs Aus - Aus 556/9 vs Pakistan 148 (408 Run lead given away)
3rd Test vs Aus - Aus 391 vs Pakistan 268 (123 run lead given away)
1st Test vs SL - SL 222 vs Pakistan 222 (4 run lead given away)
2nd test vs SL - SL 378 vs Pakistan 231 (147 run lead given away)
1st test vs Eng - Eng 657 vs Pakistan 579 (78 Run lead given away)
2nd test vs Eng - Eng 281 vs Pakistan 202 (79 Run lead given away)
3rd Test vs End - 261/7 * in progress

So apart Rawalpindi, out pathetic batting line up simply hasnt turned up or scored any meaningful runs, 1st inns of a game helps you either helps you set up a win or gives you a chance to save the game. Fact is pakistan on 1st inns in all tests have been chasing the game.

Until these pathetic loser batsmen actually turn up in 1st half of game we will keep losing and also keep having to chase totals we have been set. You take out the Rawalpindi test and we havent passed 275 once in tests matches in our 1st inns.
 
Abrar can bat..waseem can bat..300 shudnt be an issue but thats not even PAR..analyse the pakistan wickets name me ONE good delivery which was wicket taking
 
Leach averaging 64 odd on this tour. With no Jimmy and Ollie allegedly not a 100 %, this England bowling attack looks a lot weaker.

This isn't a flat track same as pindi one..
It assist spinner.. And ball will take more spin & reverse later

Issue is.. England don't have decent spinners
Leach is mediocre and Rehan is inexperienced..
 
We dont expect much.

If anyone is posting here has seen or played cricket in their life know Pakistan test team is an average team, even with their bowling line up they always seem to be missing something or can't seem to make that step forward.

But, that doesn't mean we should curse 'em to the ground.

We still hope for the best, why shouldn't we?

He's done decently in this session. But even then, lots of short balls which keep getting dispatched.

Only legspinner who debuted in this millennium and looked quality was Yasir and he even he didn't live up to expectations.
 
Pakistan are a minnow nation and need to accept their place. A team that will be blown away against the big two home and away and will not win against average sides away.

Just tuned in, can't belive how you guys keep giving chances after chances to Fahim Sobers Ashraf when clearly hassan ali is a superior bowler, a superior batsman , a better fielder that dropped catch nothwithstanding. Unless he in injured your PCB is daft by not choosing him, much like my BCCI cementheads which keep choosing Sir Bhuvi marshall steyn kallis anderson after match after match of unlimitless mediocrity! coming back to the match, i would still say this pitch is turning, eng aint so flash against spin, they have a long tail....if pak can get to 325 and chances look pretty high, they can fight in this match. will make for compelling viewing!
and lastly, kudos to eng baz ball and all...test cricket rox due to u guys
 
Strange tactics by Stokes not bowling himself or Robinson, even if the later has had an upset stomach, few overs is all he needs to bowl.

Not saying he's some legend in making but his recent QEA stats are excellent. Fans also guilty of personal liking and disliking without regard for facts.

Apparently all players are parchi according to lot of posters here. Truth is everyone has scored runs in domestic and earned their place in the team. So fair chances is what they deserve.
 
There is nothing in this pitch. England will probably score 400 plus tomorrow and pak will then let Rehan take 5 wickets in the 2nd innings
