England beat Pakistan by 169 runs in the 3rd ODI

Pathetic from Sharjeel. You have got yourself in and taken 14 off the over. There is no need to hit one straight down square-leg's throat.

That is why he is a total hack.

To be honest, England had very little in his dismissal - it's self inflicted from the thickness of something hanging on your shoulders. No one can hit every ball in the middle - so the best idea is selective hitting & be safe for next over. England put 9 men on inner line - a bat on ball is a walking single every time. Sharjeel needs to see lots of Sehwag & understand the concept of hitting in PP, other wise, he'll be dropped in a season. No point expecting that from domestics & Guru like Basit Ali'll tell that you are not ******** enough. PAK team can learn lot just from watching their neighbours batting in ODI.

He would have been out 20 runs before had they not dropped a dolly.

He is only good for a quick 40-50 at best against good sides and that too on belters. As soon as it swings, seams, bounces or spins; he is clueless.
 
Babar's deffo a great batsman and I rate him highly but hes not suited for this kind of situation. Right now we need a power hitter. Nonetheless Babar is one of our best batsman right now.
 
Pressure on batsmen is off on two occasions. Either you are chasing a very small target or you are chasing an impossible one. I wont celebrate a puny 50 because its gonna happen. Game is lost already and batsmen play with no fear.
I feel sharjeel threw it away. Look at lokesh rahuls 100 celebration in a lost case. There wad none

I have said it before. He will only score 50+ once in 5 matches because of his flawed technique and poor offside play.

We need him right now but he needs to improve his offside play to even come close to the Sehwag league. At the moment he is so predictable that it's easy for good sides to dismiss him early.

For Pakistan's sake I hope Mickey has told them that whatever the case, they have to be all-out or win and the run-rate must be more than 7.

I can live with 280 all out in 30 overs. Crawling to 300 with selfish centuries is the opposite of what Pakistan has to show.

Sadly he too can't accelerate and doesnt have a power game.
 
Don't blame Babar here, bowlers ruined the game for us. There's too much on the board.

I think, Asian sides are doing fairly well in ODI T20 with their "old mindset", compared to what they did in 80s & 90s. PAK is a different case, but, don't think IND, SRL or BD would mind to play the game they are playing now, rather than bringing modern dynamism in their game.

ENG looks rosy here because they are playing a side under a novice on field - MS or Mash, even Mathews won't bring Malik in 42nd over against Butler - just one of many I can quote. This England side, with their gung ho style, 'll find 5 down for 200 in 30th over almost every time against IND or AUS - then they'll tighten the screw to keep the target below 320 - on standard benchmark, that's 220 in 90s - every time ENG 'll struggle to avoid defeat, defending 300-310 against teams that can use head while chasing in current context.
 
Babar e Azam is wasting too many balls. We are not winning with this kimd of attitude.
 
One thing is absolutely clear Sarfaraz will fight his heart out.

We need atleast 2 more Sharjeels to be competitive in this area.

This is not the era of one player scoring 100(120) but 3 scoring 60(35) and the rest chipping in with 30-40.

What the bloody hell is wrong with everyone?! Look at the guy, he's not a powerhitter, rather a class player. Looks at his stats. This innings should write him off. Winning this match has been impossible even before it started. Yes, I understand he needs to TRY and I think that he was trying but everyone does not have the power of Sharjeel. Babar Azam is the best batsman you have in Pakistan right now and the light at the end of the tunnel. RELAX.
 
I think, AUS had the record of biggest win margin by runs against the Dutch, PAK needs to put 180 or so to avoid that.
 
Today Babar looked off color, more like under pressure for his place in the side, dressing room environment is getting to him... This is not good for him or Pakistan. Pakistan has to stick will both Babar and Sharjeel. Its difficult to be in Pakistan LOI dressing room ATM :(

If Pakistan were offered to reset the innings and number of overs will we be able to chase the 338 remainingnow?

The earlier people accepts that Umar needs to be called, the better; otherwise WC 2019 through qualifier looks an odd in betting .......
 
Pak should look to play out the 50 overs and salvage some pride. Nothing went their way today.
 
hmmm Pakistan batsmen seem to be playing on a different pitch. Could be one of the biggest defeats in history for Pakistan in England.
 
I honestly don't remember the last time we won an ODI against a non associate
